Just thought I'd quickly share my experience with this product. I know there's a lot of Lozic stuff out there but most of it seems to be ECU+TCU+AWD stuff.

At this moment I've only purchased the TCU tune. I also have AEM intakes, and a JB4 running Map 4 on E30. I have a 2022 GT2.

My TCU configuration consisted of the following:
Shift Pressure 2
5% Earlier shifts in full auto
Launch Control Torque Limit Off
More Powerful Sport Shift Pattern
I feel like I picked a "mild" setup here - and it's perfect.

First my interaction with Lozic was super easy, he's super nice and very responsive. My product got here WAY faster than I thought possible from Korea
Installation was super easy. Disconnect a plug, 4 nuts, and install in reverse - 15 minutes tops.

The first drive around the block wasn't what I expected. The shifts were a little "flare" feeling and sluggish, the car felt like it shifted super early. I thought something was wrong. However after about a hundred miles the tune has settled in and it is absolutely perfect. Just be aware if you buy this TCU tune you'll need to let it learn a tiny bit before you know what it's like. You can actually feel the shifts in comfort mode now but it's not intrusive. In sport mode everything feels more firm and definite with respect to the shifts. I really like it. When driving hard I still use the paddles instead of letting the car shift itself. I thought I would go the other way with the 5% thing but self shifting still feels faster.

Launch Control: On the factory TCU I could get into launch control just by mashing the brakes and flooring the gas. That doesn't work anymore. Also, previously it would take a second or two for the launch control alert to come up on the screen. To use launch control with the TCU now I must have traction and stability control off and the instant I mash the brakes and floor the gas the alert comes up. When you get your TCU tune and you do this the first time be prepared. I thought I was - I was wrong. The TCU takes launching this car to a whole other level - hell a different planet. It's unbelievable how much harder this car will launch. If you don't let your foot off the brake within about a second of that launch control alert popping up you'll just spin all 4 tires. I firmly believe it's possible to do a 20psi launch here and probably break your transmission or transfer case. If you get this tune be careful and aware when you launch it.

The JB4 was an awesome mod for my car. I didn't think anything would equal it. This TCU tune is equally as impressive and I'm really happy I purchased it. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone else.

Man I have to consider a lozic tune in the near future. It just sounds like such an upgrade over map 2 on my jb4 and I love my jb4.

I was at the track the other day, and I found it tricky to get the right launch with my Lozic TCU.
I can't just mash the gas pedal, if I do I will start spinning the rear tires while still at the line waiting for green. Can't be good for the transfer case  I have to feather the throttle and feel for the right place.
My best time was a 12.545 @112 1/4 mile.

Good review,

I agree with the launching, its abit more trickier with lozic tcu. A second and a half is tops prior to letting off the gas compared to stock tcu.

Also self shifting Ive heard from numerous amounts of people say it will give you better times with the tuned tcu.

Next time I go to the track I will try manually shifting, letting it shift for me was doing it about 5800-5900 RPM according to the JB4 logs.

I have the Lozic TCU, I just mash the brake, wait for the first yellow to come down and let off at the 3rd yellow. Car builds about 10psi and nets a 1.6XX 60ft. Done that with 10+ passes with no issue (Yet!)

This is a perfect review of the Lozic TCU tune. It’s literally the best thing to happen to my car since the JB4. The launching is really next level, I feel it in the pit of my gut when I launch now because of the boost that’s now generated. I’m still learning how to launch fully, I launch as soon as the tires start spinning which is ~2500 RPMs.

I actually read your post before buying my Lozic TCU and got virtually the same setup as you.

Comfort Mode: the mode I daily drive on, feels like a tamed sports mode now. It’s become my favorite mode for DD. I agree that you definitely feel the shifts, it feels more firm and feels like you gain power through the shifts at half peddle. You still feel all the power in comfort mode now and the TCU shifts and responds beautifully.

Lozic was easy to talk to, responded within seconds like he’s a close friend (appreciate that) and it got here in like 4 days. Unhooked the negative terminal of the battery and unscrewed 4 nuts, replaced, and screwed back in.

Overall review: Worth. Every. Penny.

Enough to where I’m not buying anything else for my Stinger for a while lol. The programming is $950 and the new TCU is 200. $1150 was going out price with taxes and shipping. They sale cheaper ones on this forum but after I thought about it, rather buy directly from the source so if anything goes wrong Lozic will respond and help out and I know it’s new.

I have my OEM TCU now stored so when I eventually (consider to) sale this car I have all the original parts still, including my OEM intakes, steering wheel, engine cover etc.

Yeah makes sense. That's honestly not a bad price either.

Thank you for sharing
