probably controlling the exhaust flaps
I have a 2023 and I don't see a button for the exhaust. That is exactly what it does. Available on the post-facelift Stingers.

The picture in the original post is very small and unclear, so maybe someone can take a better pic and show me/us exactly where it is and what it does.
As far as I know at this point, there is no way to manually open the second exhaust pipe. It opens up when you engage sport mode, as far as I know. There is also nothing in the user manual that I can find that explains this feature.
Thx.
Where did this come from? I thought the logic was simply "Sport = valve always open", with no tie to throttle position, and no condition where valves opened in other modes...

That's interesting, I wonder if there's different exhaust valve logic in Germany to go along with the artificial engine/exhaust speaker noise button...can anyone else confirm?I saved the link to this chart as https://stingerforum.org/attachments/1648651342654-png.69247/ but I can't locate the post that contained it.
My modest understanding is that the dashboard setting for Sport is simply the artificial sound that is feed into the interior speakers. Then the above chart documents what the exhaust valves actually do.
But my understanding is pretty basic and I'll defer to someone who knows better.
It would be useful is someone with a German specification GT2 could tell what that "button" actually does electronically. Perhaps that could be retrofitted into other models.

See my post 3.3TT - US-Spec 2023 GT2 Bi-Modal Exhaust for what I'm trying to do.That's interesting, I wonder if there's different exhaust valve logic in Germany to go along with the artificial engine/exhaust speaker noise button...can anyone else confirm?
I'd like to have a setting where the exhaust opens up above (say) 50% throttle, vs. being completely tied to Sport mode and its higher shift points. It should at least be tied to Smart mode switching to Smart/Sport with aggressive driving. I'd like to be able to drive around in Smart/Eco or Comfort getting decent mileage, but still have the exhaust open when I decide to get on it.
