I have been thinking up upgrading my car. I have a 2019 GT AWD now and I am thinking of getting a new 2023 GT2 RWD while there are some still available. Any thoughts.
Is the sunroof rattle that bad? I will not miss AWD since I have only driven my Stinger about 5000 miles for the 6 winters I have had it. I drive my second car mostly in the winter. The one thing that I might miss is the heated steering wheel, but my winter car has all those goodies.Big differences between GT and GT2. Do you want those features enough to upgrade? Will you miss AWD? Will the sunroof rattle make you wish you were dead??
if you don't have the rattle it's not bad at all. well over five years in and not a peep out of the sunroof. I use it all the time above 50F, and even cooler sometimes. Is the sunroof rattle that bad?
Unfortunately, at my age, the Stinger is my sports car.I wouldn’t do it personally. You’ve already got the GT. The GT2 offers some nice comforts, but not worth the update price. To me anyway. Save up for your next sports car.

GT is 3.3. GT Line is 2.0/2.5 4 cyl.Could be wrong but GT not GT1 is the 4 cylinder. Don
Huh?GT1s & 2s lots more power. Don
I was wrong, I thought the GT, lacking the 1 after it was the 2.5L 4-cylinder.Huh?
I have a 2020 gt, it has the 3.3tt. It actually felt a little bit quicker than both the gt1 and gt2 I test drove back when I was buying it. At least on the "butt dyno" I know the gt is a tiny bit lighter so it coulda been that. Engine is the same though. I thought about doing this about a year or two after buying my car. I wanted the sunroof really badly. I was hoping when the 2022 refresh dropped it would change the car for the better and that would be a reason to upgrade. 2022+ is basically the same car unfortunately, no big boost in power, exterior is same except for the tail lights, which are better imo.
If the money isn't an issue than just get whatever car you want.
Probably the only model I'd upgrade for would be the grand tourer model. I really like the suede/leather interior combo with the red stitching and red seat belts. It's got a different, better interior and all the exterior black bits of the scorpion without the hideous (imo) spoiler that I don't like. It's the best of both worlds imo, I'd definitely upgrade to that if I could find one new or with less miles than my car. My gt only has 21,800 on it currently though so probably not likely.
