The easiest way to eliminate the grab handle ticking noises is to remove the front two grab handles, the driver and passenger sides. It only takes a couple minutes to unmount both handles. Once removed, I used some plastic screw caps with rubber washers behind them to cover the holes left in the headliner (reuse the original screws). I picked up the hardware from Lowes and it cost me about 6 bucks.

looks trim. I've never used a grab handle in over five years of this car. and nobody I've driven has used them either. but, keep them around to put back on, in case you ever sell.

I have a trunk organizer full of my tools and detailing products that I keep in the back. The handles are stored in one of the many pockets. Pros of the car having lots of cargo space. I can keep all my crap and still have plenty of space left

My biggest complaint on this car is the creaking headlighter from the handles. I just took two of them off and it was quiet so I put them back on a bit loose and right now it's not creaking but if it continues I'll follow your lead

Or, you could follow my post in this thread, keep your grab handles and eliminate the noise entirely:

Nice alternative method. My girlfriend and I never used the handles so I'm fine with taking them off. The rear handles are still present though.

Well the noise came back and I don't want to give up the handles. I didn't have time to go to the home depot for rubber washers, and I was at work so I just grabbed some metal pan washers. Put one behind each screw and surprisingly it's incredibly quiet now. No noise. So I guess it was just the plastic part of the handle and the other plastic part that screws into it that was screeching. Surprising how much noise it actually made now that it's quiet

Did you use the same size ones OP specified ?

Saw this install video on YouTube (KDMKurt). Maybe this is an option.

I think that's where the "ticking" and "cracking" sound is coming from on my 2018. When I pull down on the handle while driving, the noise stops. It's really bad in the winter but it's now making the noise a little in the summer too. I was thinking of installing some sort of bushing so I don't have to remove the entire driver side handle. If I decide to do this, I'm only doing the driver side since I don't use mine but my passengers use theirs.

Have you folks figured out how to get rid of the seat belt adjuster vibrations? A year ago I stuffed a velcro strap in to take up some of the slack. It's been working ok, but i hear the vibes coming back every now and then. Certain roads/speeds really cause it to resonate.

No, I haven't noticed it on my car but I've heard Stinger owners say they've experienced it before. Does the noise increase or decrease when the belt adjuster is set at different heights?

Good question. I haven't changed the height since adjusting it. I want to say it makes no difference as I hear it from the passenger side too.

I need to do this ASAP.. Now my steering wheel is making a noise when turning. I tried everything. A subtle creek when turning. Anyone else have that happen?
