Anyone have recommended parts vendor for a new set of stock wheels? Costco scratched all my wheels and their insurance is willing to replace them. Unfortunately, their insurance is having issues finding a set and asked if know of a source. Anyone have online retailer they recommend or should I just go through the dealership? Looking for the 18” GT2 wheels. I’ll settle for the 19” set-up if they’re all that’s available but I’d rather not buy a second set of all new tires.

Although I don't have anything to say that helps this thread, I have to ask what in the world happened that your in this mess?

They said some salt got stuck in their equipment that caused it to scratch all my wheels when putting on the new tires. Bunch small scattered scratches. Wheel repair shop said it was too scattered to repair and the detail shop said it was too deep to polish. When I picked up my car all the wheels were covered in a paste (to prevent scratching per Costco) so I couldn’t inspect them. Went and washed it off found all the scratches.

UGH...that sounds terrible. Sorry to hear that. Wish you luck!

I would be surprised if a good wheel repair shop couldnt fix those ......................

Honestly, I was surprised too. Wheel repair shop said it was too scattered for the process they used which involved sanding then painting the areas and suggesting seeing if a detailer could polish it out. Detailer said it was too deep to polish. Unfortunately the Pittsburgh area doesn’t have many choices for this kind of work so my options are limited.
