Yesterday I was driving and went to accelerate into traffic and car started acting, sounding and feeling weird. Check engine light comes on. It was acting like it was running on 3 cylinders, pull over to check the code and nothing. Cut the car off for a sec and started it back up. Everything is fine until I go to get into boost. I am running stage 2 on JB4. I got home looked all over under the hood and checked all clamps and everything looked good. I can drive the car normal it's only when I go to get into boost is where it starts shuttering and the exhaust sounds really shitty. Anyone experience this and what was the issue ?

Plugs or coils. Always plugs or coils.

What would cause them to come loose ? I just did the plugs with one step up plugs from burger racing and made sure everything was good and tight

Did you gap the denso plugs correctly? sounds like it may be spark blowout.

Did you gap them down to .024 or thereabouts?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
When I bought the 450 kit from burger. I made sure and went through the forums to make sure I had the right gap set up. I've had the kit on for a year and this is the first problem I've had.

I've had the Densos, properly gapped, do similar after 10-15K miles. Check for codes through your OBD2 port. Try and figure out which cylinder so you can fix. According to another thread here, the coils have been modified (upgraded?) because they have issues.

Get yourself a set of HKS plugs, Gap them to .22-.24 and replace the denso's. They are better plugs and will last longer.

I have had 2 bad coil packs on Cylinder one, caused same issues. Not sure what is causing the coil pack to go out but I could see the black marks on the side of the plug.
