Tried searching on here, as well as via general internet, but was curious if there is any sort of consensus: Are there any year/s to target in particular while searching for a Stinger? Or, stated as the inverse, are there any year/s to avoid?

Not really. They all are pretty much the same.
Thanks for the response. I wasn't sure if there were any mechanical issues that were corrected along the way or something like that.

2022 forward drops the GT trim, and essentially makes the GT1 a GT with a moonroof. GT Line ditches the 2l for the 2.5l 4 cyl turbo, and I only offers a single trim. 2023 they dropped all but the GT Line and GT2 trims. They are special editions, the GTS (2020 in the US), Scorpion and Tribute. If you are not in the US, most of that info is useless.

drove a 2.5l recently and my butt dyno felt the acceleration the same as the 2.0l. could have been just the individual car was not noticeably more powerful than our 2.0l, I don't know. the different production years alter the lcd information screens arrangement for whatever reason. I was looking for the tpms readout and it is with the digital mph. and a new nanny, 'car in front of you is moving' or words to that effect. wth? so a nanny designed to alert drivers on their phones that the traffic in front is clearing out? ridiculous. people should be driving the danged car not acting like multitasking one armed zombies.

Pretty sure the gts was a 2019 model iirc? There is also the 2020 indigo blue special edition that has the drift mode like the gts. Grand Tourer model is basically a "better" Scorpion package. Has all the same black accents but has red stitching on the seats, red seat belts and suede dash/suede on seats, minus the rear spoiler.

Clearly you should buy the last new one available as everything has been fixed along the way. The My23 has the largest screen and latest software

I mean, there isn't much that's needed fixing on the previous model years that I can think of? I know somebody already mentioned the sunset yellow paint issue. Does the 22-23 still have the trunk rattle? That's the only issue I've had really, which is an easy fix. That and the black chrome trim fading/peeling. That issue isn't just a Stinger issue though as I'm pretty sure Telluride's with that trim have the same issue.
22-23 have the same size screen.
