EBC makes great rotors and should be a solid step up.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Oh damn .. didn't realize they had different generations.... Pretty sure the ones I ordered are gen 1 than eh.. which ones did you order?
I was told the generations are same quality/performance and the only difference is the coating on them.

I ordered gen1 because they were on sale and they sent me mixed. The coatings look different on my front and rear. Over time I think they’ll look the same though.

Oh yeah... Perfect match once installed. You putting em on today?

I'm running the latest generation solid rotors (no drilling or slotting) with Red Stuff pads, and they are a good solid update to the stock rotors and pads. I have noticed that the EBC rotors don't seem to show any signs of rust, even when the car hasn't been driven for a week or so. Whatever coating they've used has definitely helped.

Oh, please don't... not until you've first seated the pad/rotors, then bedded them in properly. EBC lists very specific instructions. Following them to a tee, if you want their products to perform as designed.

Correct. EBC uses SAE grade G3000 cast iron on all gens, I believe. The different coatings are mostly cosmetic. You're fine as long as there is some coating on the hubs, so the wheel/rotor interface isn't adversely affected by excessive corrosion over the lifetime of the rotor on your car. A little bit of rust or discoloration over time doesn't affect how the rotor does its job.

I’m looking at EBC solid rotors right now. Did you get the rk7794 & rk7795? I’m looking at those on buybrakes.com

Curious how you’ve liked them to this point? I’m planning to pair them with ebc red stuff.
