Hey guys so I just got my car back from damage repair and drove it about a 100 years before I heard a funny noise and the car lost power. Gauge is showing 0 boost and my initial thought was blown turbo but I have no warning lights or codes. Car is also noticeably louder.

Power cycle did nothing and it’s leaking a lot of water on the passenger side.

Ther repair did replace the damaged intercooler but I don’t think the turbos were hit by the object that was thrown at me.

My question is this def a blown turbo and if so is that a guaranteed engine swap? The car was driven about 2 miles under load to diagnose and another 3 very gently.

Did you take the car back to the shop who did the work?

Make sure you tighten it down good, this has boost behind it, up to 15 lbs stock, up to 21 if tuned.
Since the caps aren't on the clamp bolt heads, they were definitely removed at some point!

I’m running a jb4 and cold air for sure. She is good and right through. Also where are you seeing 21lbs? I’m not getting close to that on map2

Map 7 with WMI.
If you have E85 available, put about 3-4 gallons along with about 12 gal pump gas and try map 3 and 4. You think map 2 is a kick in the butt? You ain't seen nothing yet.

nice! I just realized map3 is now rated for 93 so I tried that out today. Still best 0-60 is 4.8 with launch and I think it should be doing better between the cold air and the jb4. Maybe e30 will solve that. Still don’t understand why 0-60 is over kias official specs for stock on the tune though. Car is at only 33k miles.

I did see almost 19 lbs of boost though

Going from 0 is tough because a stock setup doesn't allow you to build boost. You need to get up to about 2600 RPM and build about 6-7 lbs of boost to get a good launch. The stock setup limits you.
I have a Lozic TCU with the torque limit disabled, so it launches really nice. Took almost 1/2 second off my 1/4 mile ET.

But stock time should be 4.65 so idk why I’m getting such bad times. It’s definitely quicker on the tune though

Are you AWD or RWD?
AWD lets you get a better launch (if you have boost) without spinning the tires, but also robs some power overall.
Manufacturers specs are always best case probably with a professional driver, always hard to get runs that are as good.

Awd. And that makes sense
