I use the JB Tuners MP12 to flash other platforms. I can use the module on multiple vehicles, but have to purchase credits for each individual vehicle, in rare instances even for the same vehicle if I’m using a completely different ECU flash licensing.

2. The EK1 Pro/EK1Lite are the only devices on the market that can flash tunes to our cars. Sxth and SXThink Literally built the device themselves and Can charge whatever they want as they have the monopoly.
3. Even after purchasing an EK1Lite (599USD), a ECU (500USD) & TCU (300USD) tune is still less then a single Lap3 ECU, Just barely more than a Lozic ECU, and comes with support from the Sxth team so you can get revisions done, as well as if they put out an updated for the tune, you can download the updated version for free right from their site.
4. The devices Not only can do logging as well, but it can hit more sensors than the JB4/Lap3 pro tuners can, allowing for more data to be tracked and used to modify said tunes accordingly.
5. Even after all of this stuff, if you want to use it to flash a friends vehicle, it would only cost 75ish dollars to get the device to read their vehicle, then another 75ish to get it back to your car.
All of this from the comfort of your Drivers seat. So you can not buy one if you want, but that just means more for the rest of us. Gotta Pay to Play.
Agreed. Sxth HAD the option of making it so you couldn't ever use it on another car if they wanted to, but decided against it. SXTH might have spent tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars developing this platform and tunes, no way they could recoup this investment with the profit of just the device itself.
Also considering that any dedicated ECU tune from Lozic or Lap3 require you to send it back with a fee if you want to move it to another vehicle.

Well, think about it this way, you cant compare it to a hammer, as that tool has been around for centuries. Think about it more like an iphone. You are 100% still paying for its intellectual properties even after you buy the device, whether its apple music or icloud or whatever else they offer. I know its not great that you effectively have to pay 200 per car, but look at it this way, its a lot better than another 1500-2000 plus from lap3/lozic/ectgiven away for free? your paying for the device! is it bad if i buy a hammer and let my family member use it? or should they have to go buy there own? or pay a fee to the manufacturer to use the hammer I already paid for? its their intellectual property right?
either way I was just stating my opinion on the matter, and if it is indeed the 75 dollars to change the vin and not the 200 i was told from sxth in email "We do not suggest using it for more than one car, however you can reset the device for $200" it makes it slightly more appealing.
and this post was made after emailing sxth about using it on another car as the gf plans on getting a stinger and obviously i dont wanna buy 2 ek1s and when they told me i would have to pay 200 EVERY time i want to change the vini thought that was a little absurd.
