So recently got Ultimate HFC downpipe and Midpipe installed. Stud was broken but repaired. I have MBRP exhaust with this set up. I've never heard such a horrible rasp, bean can. Metal on metal sound before coming from V8s. I installed two Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonators on the MBRP. It helped a good amount;I do have a lot of exhaust leaks, which will be fixed Monday once welded in . Now if I were to get rid of the Xpipe for the MBRP would this eliminate the rest of the Rasp? I have rasp from 2k to 2.5k rpm. I don't hear it just sitting and reving only driving. Under WOT it complete goes away, under heavy acceleration when it switches get jn that rpm range you can hear it. I love this stinger that's the last sound I want to hear and others. So would a true dual help, I've read that Xpipe can add rasp.

Should get rid of most of it if you get rid of exhaust leak.

I have the same problem, catless primaries, catless mids, stock catback. The idea was all the performance but less of the sound. Instead, from about 1.5k - 2.5k rpm, there is this apparent rasp. It sounds like its coming from my mufflers. The noise it makes sounds like there would be a nut just loose within the mufflers at those rpms. I have no exhaust leaks as I've looked for the problem in case that what it was. I don't know what to try next, I am considering Tork Motorsports' muffler delete n seeing if I can weld any resonators into it, need be.

In my experience secondary cat delete just equals rasp at that RPM. Drove me crazy.

I got vibrant ultra quiets, got rid of 90 percent of it. It's there when engine is cold, like 60 percent better. When warmed up almost gone. Other resonators I tried didn't work. Vibrant ultra quiets are the only ones.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
That is an impressive difference.
