I've had my premium 2019 stinger for almost a year and have loved every moment of it. Usually I just browse the forums here and rarely post, but recently I got new wheels and wanted to sell my old OEM ones.

When I try to post in the member classifieds section it says I don't have the privileges' to post there. What do I need to do to get the rights to post there?

You have to have more than a 2 post involvement. The algorithm is looking at you as a lurker once you get more active it will open the doors for you. Welcome to the forum, it’s a great place for all things Stinger. Cheers

replies don't count, as far as I've heard. you have to accumulate at least fifteen posts. even the 'attach files' button doesn't work like it used to until you get that busy on the forum.

@PaperbackStar I really enjoy my 2019 premium as well, it is over 90 percent of the 3.3l performance wise, the only thing lacking is raw power, the torque is more than enough for all rolling situations, the only thing I don't like is the turbo lag but you just have to anticipate that and start your move a tad earlier than in the 3.3l. as for total features, the only trim that has more than the premium is the gt2 and only a few like the opening hatch and hud. it doesn't have gauges but that is very minor.

what wheels did you get? I actually like the oem 18" wheels on the base and premium, they are the easiest to clean of the three sets I have.

It's set up that way to keep the board from getting spammed by bots.

I believe replies do count.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for registering for an account. There have been instances where people sign up, we don't know anything about them, they post items for sale, take money - and then just disappear without sending the buyer what they paid for. Unfortunately, now it is required that you've been here for a while and participating within the community before the classifieds area can be used. There is no exact number of posts that gets an account upgraded, but an algorithm of a few different data points that does it.

I ended up getting tuning wheels from Tire Rack. They didn't cost me too much money and I love the look.

Hopefully I can find a buyer for the old wheels, I'm sure somebody would appreciate them!

That makes sense, unfortunately there are always people trying to take advantage of others.

I post on reddit semi frequently, and the hardware swap subreddit had to implement rules like that as well to stop scammers.

Maybe ask ChatGPT for post ideas for the forum. Algorithm battle!

I might just end up having to do that! I've had to post and reply quite a bit more than I thought to get permission lol
Bulletin boards/forums need some level of gatekeeping or they immediately get overrun with garbage.
