Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

If I remember correctly it’s the bottom of the display screen- it will show “codes” click that then just click delete codes.
Great, I will do that and hopefully figure out something, appreciate your kindness.

Here is my wissling. It can be played in Media Player, maybe you have to save it in another form

Didnt work, anyone have an e-mail that then could post in another form?

Ok, good. Hope you find whats make the sound.
For me, I had blow by, by the pistons, 3 and 4 I think and headgasket. It was found out when KIA after the engine broke did a leakdown test.

Now, $20 k later I have a new engine and I also stay away from LAP3 tunes that have killed several engines. Its not only about boost, better with good fuel, better timing and max 20 psi.
Also everyone should try to avoid boost overshoot as cylinder pressure goes skyhigh, feels great with a lot of torque in 1-2 second but not worth it.
Many tuners now focus on stable boost and thats good.
What feature is Boost Overshoot? I’m not familiar with that term.

When you go from lower rpm and go WOT and boost is coming on fast, it reach higher level than it should. Lets say car is tuned to 20 psi, it can when shifting or from lower rpm make 23 psi for a second or 2, thats overshoot. In JB4 you can tune that away by lower wg at around 4000 rpm and also put a 30-80% in Auto shift Boost Reduxion, then boost take that half second more to come back from a lower level and you avoid overboost

It's not attached.

I see, thanks. In turbine engines that’s described as a “transient” condition. Transient NG (N1/N2) or gas generator. Similarly, rapid collective movements in helicopters can cause transient conditions to the low and high side.

Yes, the same!

I'm Back.

Announcing the release of a new tuning.

It's starting as a beta version now, but there are many development plans.

Currently, pure E85 is in perfect working condition.

Naturally, it won't work with a pure E85 without Tune.

Boost-related was not modified.

I'll do some tests as it is now and post the results again.

Thank you for always supporting LOZIC.

Straight E85 with or without CPI? Either way it’s crazy

View attachment 72988View attachment 72989Got revised with 1.5 bar tune without boost ready. Surprisingly less timing pull with shell 93 so I’m confident that WMI can clean it all.
No more turbo fluttering and stuttering when gear change around 2200 rpm. Fiancé doesn’t like it so I have to get it revised.

This is the timing pull before.

@Slip_Angle Hey Slip. Do you think if I purchase this logger OBD2 it will work ok or should I get JB4?

Hi guys, my car have been making this noise for the past 2-3k miles, and I have looked everywhere and asked everyone and no one seems to know what is happening. This whistle sound only happens when I fully accelerate when going 60-70mph, and the sound will fade away at 110-115mph. If I go full throttle from a dead stop nothing well be heard or if I accelerate normally, which I did to 150mph again nothing can be heard.
Things that I did to try to find the issue:
1-I checked all the vacuum lines.
2-I cleaned and applied silicone to all the doors seals.
3- vacuum tested both POVs, and both held -10psi.
4-tested both turbos by putting the JB4 in map8.
5-took the car to the dealership, they said it's wind noise normal (normal my ass).
Sorry for the bad writing English isn't my first language.
It was the side skirt, one of them the driver side had a crack in it, I guess they're going to the trash.
Sorry everyone.

don't dwell on your thoughts

I'm always up for a challenge

I am setting up the E85 on several vehicles.

What about Stinger? What modifications are needed to run E85 straight? How easy to switch back to 91 if I can't get E85? Will this be flex-fuel, so any mix works? Or 1 map for 91/E30, another for full E85?

Sorry for the all the questions. Do you have a forum or blog or something where you update more often? Your "lozic usa" website doesn't have a lot of information.

Changing maps is inconvenient.

I'm testing it with the flex fuel right now.

I did a in 4 full tank test with the E85.

Currently testing 91 with the same ECU.

91 is being tested in 2 full tank.

There are still some things to test and add new features, so I'll announce it when all the tests are done.

If you can run full e85 or 91 off the same ECU, that would be pretty sweet.

Yes, agree. I have E85 available close to home, but for road trips, would need to go to 91. I assume if that works, then 96/100 (at the track) should also work ok?

Edit: I don't even care if E85 only makes as much power as E30-E50. I just want to be able to fill up with whatever I have available. Even if it requires an E85 sensor. That way, I can let my wife take the car if needed and not break it by putting in the wrong fuel..

Would be super nice if your company would use the EK1 Device for ECU/TCU Flashing, then we could very easily switch back and forth the different MAPS, and the map revision process would be a lot faster via email and not the old nail mail....... Just an idea.
