I'm planning on adding some more power to the Stinger soon and between all the current developments (SXTH EK1 Lite, Burger HPFP, Burger back end flash w/EK1 Lite, etc) in addition to what's already out there, my head is spinning and I'm thoroughly not sure which path to take. This is actually a good thing for the platform and shows we have a good amount of options on the table which I do appreciate.

I currently am running a JB4, BMS intakes, Borla catback, and HKS plugs. I switch between 91 octane on map 2 and e30 on maps 3-4 and the car feels decent just there alone. I sold my Tork TCU as I am not tracking my car and never used the ability to launch. The quicker shifts from the tune were nice, but very subtle, and I think I'd benefit from more of a TCU tune in a higher stage. I've run a shift kit on previous automatic car, although with a much inferior transmission (ie, 5-speed) where shift line pressure was considered high compared to the Tork stage 1 and I enjoyed it. I have no idea my current power numbers or even times on 0-60, 60ft, 1/8 mile, or 1/4 mile. although I do feel this car would best a couple of previous vehicles that ran low 8 second and around mid 80mph 1/8 mile times and mid 4 second 0-60 times. The one car I've actually tested against was a c43 AMG and I was neck and neck with it and I had just tuned my car.

My main goal is just to have enough power to consistently keep up with or toy with cars that are low 12 second or high 11 second cars (392 cars, Tesla Model 3s, etc). I have another hobby now that takes up most of my time and haven't been giving my car much love, but appreciate what I have and want to make it a little faster is all.

The last time I was thinking of modding the Stinger, I was planning on running the CPI kit and calling it a day. I know I'd like to have another form of TCU tune though and will probably go with either Lozic or SXTH if I went the EK1 Lite route. I'd like to stay under $2500 all said and done, but wouldn't be opposed to a little more if needed. I also have no desire in messing with exhaust heading back towards the engine from the catback. I also would prefer CPI to Meth as my wife won't like our two kids riding in the back knowing that tank is back there.

So that being said, what would be the most efficient, graceful way of getting my car to be a high 11 second car, or even mid 11 seconds, either utilizing what I have now with the jb4 or doing something new like a full ECU tune? Would running the CPI kit with a stage 2 type TCU tune get me there or would I need more than that?

I went with WMI on my AWD with JB4 running map 7. Last year, running California 91 and WMI, I was able to do 11.80 consistently, so it is possible with just a jb4 and Lozic TCU.
If you don't like WMI, then CPI with E40+ could get you there too.

I ran mid-11 secs on my G70 with Lozic tune and CPI kit. I'm selling the ECU btw. If interested, send me a PM. Roll racing, my best 60-130 was 9.4. That's quick enough to keep you in front of a lot of what will be on the road.

To answer your main question, each provider can help you achieve "keeping up". Lap3 1.5, Lozic (each is custom), SXTH (not familiar but they have been on KDM scene for awhwil.are all good options. Your cheapest will be Lozic. Lap3 will be your fastest. The rest I don't have personal experience with.

Ok so seeing that a combo of CPI and jb4 plus TCU is good for high elevens or add an ECU tune plus the those to go deeper into the 11s. GennyGuy were you running with a tuned TCU when you hit mid 11s? I’m assuming so.

Yes, TCU Tune has been in since September 2021.

Car lasted 30 days before I started adding power. JB4 last 2 months before I sought a proper ECU. Looked for power 6 months after that with my second tune from Lozic. CPI added 4 months after that

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I haven’t gotten a good read from others if the full ECU is worth it over jb4 and CPI. Did you notice a big difference after the tuned ECU? Or which mod would you say had the biggest affect alone between the TCU, ECU, and CPI? I’ve heard a lot of good about the TCU from Lozic and that it has really improved times so wondering if that would be something if I couldn’t afford the full ECU tune to do first.

TCU is a great mod. But to me, there's no substitute for an ECU tune. Especially one that can run on just pump gas. No wmi or cpi required.

Power made is more with ECU. The delivery is far smoother. There are less bugs or none at all if it's a really good tune. You just have more at your fingertips.

Ok that makes sense thanks. I would probably take you up on the ECU you are selling but I’m not going to have the funds for a bit like around Summer time.

I understand. Hopefully, I won't still have it at that time lol. Not sure what if you're aware, but PayPal gives you an option to pay with a credit card and then you can pay that down over time. Please don't feel the need to respond to that one, it's your personal business and finance. Just wanted to throw out a potentially helpful option in case you weren't that is available to you.
