If i setup the jb4 to use meth on all maps, and if i unplug the obd connection. will it still fire or does it need the obd?

i plan on using an ek1 and would like to know if it still works in case i need to pull a log with the ek1

Might as well log with the JB4 and use the EK1 lite exclusively for loading tunes. I'm gonna probably be in the same boat

To my knowledge, it does not need the OBD2 connection to fire. It is strictly based on the boost pressure, you can set what boost pressure you want it to start flowing at inside the app.
Also, be aware that if you set it to flow on all maps, you have no safety, such as fuel trims out of whack or tank empty.
