Simply need to monitor a LAP3 ECU tune. Just grab a JB4 with the bluetooth kit, but without the fuel wires....simple plug and monitor with MAP 0? Anything else to consider? Thanks!

Map0, bit0 on, bit5 on, bit6 on

Perfect, thanks. And do not get the fuel wires, correct? This is for the 1.0 tune, so I don't foresee any adjustments needed. Want to simply monitor and make sure it's safe in the very cold weather.

The new JB4 comes with fuel wire pre installed anyway. Just disable it on the bit options. Make sure you post a log and let’s check the tune.

How are your logs looking with the 1.5tune and jb4 for monitoring? I remember David from lap3 was telling me alot of ppl experience problems with the jb4 and lap3 ecu tune as far as overboosting . How long have you had your lap 3 tune ?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

People are overboosting if they have exhaust mods. I only have catback and never experienced overboosting. Installed the Lap3 at 6500 miles and now have 8000 miles.

I only have 91 and E30 mix so octane is somewhat good. Wish I had 93 and E30. The perfect setup would be 93/e30/wmi. I don’t want to drill holes for wmi. Living in California and CARB requirements is no good.

1.5 tune with the cold weather is pushing my boost to 22 psi. For me, this is too much for my octane and turbo. I run map6 on JB4 to dial some boost down to 3.5 psi. I see 17-18.5 lbs now. This is a good setup for my current octane with no or minimal corrections depends on weather and iat.

Map0, nothing else needed. If you decide you want to alter the tuning then you'd change a few settings. With lap3 maps its common to need to pull out a little boost.
