wanting to add JB4 to a totally new stock Stinger 3.3T....worth it?

I just got a 22 GT1 and would like to get the JB4, is it worth it w/o any other mods, like exhaust or intake, etc...?? or does it work better with combined mods?

i just watched a drag race with two mod'd stingers and they only got 12's.
stock stingers get 12's. its the thread about 1/4 mile races.

Yes JB4 is worth it even if you want to stay on map1.

Stock stingers do 12.9-13.1, A Jb4 on map2 should run 12.5ish if not quicker. that half second is a large difference. Add Meth or e30 and a stinger can break 11s with the JB4.

Welcome to the Stinger Forum and congrats on your new Kia!

The JB4 is a great option to get more power out of your Stinger, I'd only recommend changing out your Spark Plugs from the stock set to the HKS Plugs if you haven't already before the JB4 install! The HKS Plugs can be found HERE. We also have the JB4 in stock and ready to ship HERE.

A-lot of people do run Intakes and Exhaust in combination with the JB4. This combo offers even more of a performance boost with the great sound of the intakes and exhaust working together.

It's the most reliable piggyback tune. No issues. It has alot of safety features aswell.

Dont know about for track use, but there is a big difference with JB4 even with just using MAP1.
Gets even better with intake mods.
Got one for 21 GT1 when it was like 5-6 months old.

I'm in LA, running map 2 on 91 no sweat. Mix in some E85 and I daily map 3.

The Jb4 (CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO) is definitely worth it for a stock vehicle. You will still get great performance and as you decide to add parts further down the line, you will still have room to grow with it.

yep its worth it, the power improvement is insane for such a simple install.
