Body shop or paint correction?

Hey guys I need your opinion on whether or not I need to bring my car to a body shop or a paint correct.

You can't "correct" paint that is no longer there. Those look pretty horrible.

What happened?

I would attack them with a touchup kit for now: anything will be an improvement and help reduce your pain. Later you can have a body shop do the entire bumper cover.

I was at work and was going to get something from my car and noticed a large scratch on the front right lip and bumper. No cameras but I’m assuming someone backed into it somehow, god knows.

Too late for this time, but park defensively, religiously. Hah. I always park away from where everybody else wants to (walking is good exercise for this sedentary generation), uphill from shopping cart corrals, and end stalls only, pulled well to the end. Etc.

Guess I had to learn the hard way, but thanks for the advice. Definitely parking in the middle of nowhere from now on. Worst part is my camera didn’t even record the damn incident.

I'd say you have two options. You can fill those spots with touch up paint and give it some time to dry then hit it with some paint correction and level it out. Or you just take it to a bodyshop and let them handle it. If it were me Id try fixng it myself first but I have the gear and maybe you dont.

Unfortunately I do not have any tools that would help me out in this situation yeah
