Yup, we're staying on top of this for the community.

MBRP has experienced some minor setbacks during production but they are keeping us in the loop.

We will be making sure to let the community know in advance so we can offer discounted group buy pricing as promised.

glad to hear MBRP is stepping up to the plate. Have you heard anything from Borla? i recall seeing someone saying they were working on it also a long time back but nothing recent.
 
The delays on this exhaust system are ridiculous. Wasn't the original timeline like way earlier this year?

Yeah, I'd rather it be right though. But I'm going crazy. I don't think I've ever had a stock exhaust on a car this long before lol

Did you slap some downpipes on that bad boy yet?
 
Nah. Don't think I'm going to. Really dislike all the exhausts with dp's that I've heard on that car. Don't like the raspy stuff

I agree. i've been trying to hold out for borla on my 22. i just got an ecu tune 2 weeks ago and have the CAI's installed.. so needing the final (should have been first) exhaust piece. i even went to a exhaust shop yesterday asking if they would fab something to get the outside tip properly aligned. he said he could do something. i think they will release the proper version when im driving home with a modded old version. ugh.

MBRP is only releasing (5) in the 1st batch of the new 2022-2023 Kia Stinger - MBRP Pro Series - Active Electronic Valve Catback Exhausts & working with us to get the 1st (5) units.

We were hoping to get more, but this is the amount that they are releasing in the 1st batch. We've worked closely with them to obtain these 1st (5) units, which are shipping to us this weekend.

This part below is the important part, so please read carefully, as we don't want to have any upset or angry customers.

THERE ARE ONLY (5) UNITS AVAILABLE FOR SALE THAT WE ARE RECEIVING IN THE 1ST BATCH, AND WE EXPECT TO SELL ALL OF THEM BEFORE THE WEEKEND IS OVER.

If you happen to be one of the lucky 5 to preorder this exhaust, we expect it to be able to ship to you the 1st week of October or sooner.

Once the first (5) units are sold, MBRP will not have the next batch available until around the end of October. Therefore, if you are interested, we suggest preordering now.

If you happen to miss the first (5) units sold, don't worry, you can still pre-order the exhaust on our site, and you'll be one of the 1st to receive the exhaust when the next batch is released.

Tempting, pricier than expected but I suppose that comes with the R&D and keeping the active valve system. Thanks for the update!
