I got my 22 stinger gt1 back in March. I kinda did an impulse buy (oops) after watching a few videos of wheels that fit a stinger. I ended up purchasing the Savini BM14 20x8.5 +20 offset wheels for the front & 20x10 +25 offset for the rear. I’m not sure how this will look after they’re installed in terms of offset. I’ve tried to research it, but nothing really helps visually. I’ve mainly seen offsets of 35. Does anyone have any input or opinions with that offset size? It’s not too late to change it lol I hope.

They will fit real nice, should be nice and flush with the wheel well.

Tire sizing might be important though, don't go too wide. I would do 245/35 for the front and 285/30 for the rear.

I was thinking for the rear 275/35. I’m just going based off another build lol do you think the 285/30 would be better?

It will fit, but "better" is subjective. Wider looks better to most folks. Wider in the rear induces more understeer, which for most drivers is better than oversteer.

Welcome, by the way. :)

in for pics once you get them installed!

you totally ignored the fact that one tire is TALLER than the other and the diameter is different.

275/35 vs. stock (new tire is taller than stock):

285/30 vs. stock (new tire is SHORTER than stock):

But as long as the change in diameter is matched front and rear, then everything is okay except for the speedo error.

The only way to go wider in the rear AND stay stock diameter is to go to a 295/30/19 OR a 305/25/20. Anything else is going to be taller OR shorter than stock.

"Val" didn't say, AWD. Taller would look pretty spiff in the rear.

How do you get shorter than stock? The calculator says stock is OD 661, and 285/30 is 679: a difference negligible to the eye or an AWD system.

The 245/35 front paired with that 285/30 rear is actually closer to the same OD than the stock 19" wheels and tires are, by a whole 2mm. :D

I don't know how you calculate the difference in the speedometer for c. 18-19mm larger OD.

I think I’m more confused than I was to begin with haha I still haven’t gotten the tires yet. I guess I forgot to mention that it is RWD. What would you suggest I get?

245/35 and 285/30 are a better match. 285/35 is taller than 245/35. second # is a percentage of the first. 245*.35 and 285*.30 are both 85mm roughly.

That simplifies matters. You can have larger OD rear and it won't hurt a thing: with AWD you have to keep the OD front and rear as close to the same as possible. What @Snowwhite said: the lower aspect ratio 285/30 is going to look closer to 245/35.

Yes, that is what I plugged into the calculator, and wrote it wrong (thanks for catching it): I've edited my post to say 285/30.

The rim is 1.5” wider that stock or 19mm per side and the offset is 21mm lower than stock. Thus, pushing the edge of the rim out by 40mm (1.57”). I believe that the rims will stick out past the edge of the fender. However, I am admittedly curios to see how it looks. I was thinking about using the same wheel width, with 245/35’s on the front and 285/30’s on the back. Please post pics?
