Pretty much sums it up if anyone can help asap !!! Checking the manual as we speak

Did you try flipping the switch on the door? Sounds like its in the folded position.

The setting is under Convenience, under one of the menus on the driver’s instrument panel. Need to have the car running and on P to scroll thru the menus.

I’ve done this many times - the switch has a very light action and is easily knocked when reaching for the handle.

I love that switch for long nighttime highway drives and I have annoying headlights blinding me from behind..

I flip the switch, mirrors fold in, problem solved.

when I first got my car, the mirrors would look automatically be lowered when shifting into Reverse, any thoughts how to get that feature?
I'd since messed with a variety of settings so it's no longer working

Flip the left right switch on the mirrors' control.

I forget the name of the switch. Put the car in reverse and play with those mirror buttons and watch the mirror, you'll see it move down.

just tried shifting into Reverse all the different button positions and it didn't work :(
unless you're suggesting the mirror position in Reverse is what's remembered by the car and switching to Reverse will move mirrors back to that positon?

- so it seems I was flipping around the mirror open/close switch which is why it wasn't working
appreciate you making the video!

I recommend modifying the title of the video to include kia stinger etc so that it'll be searchable to other ppl looking on YT may stuble across the video too

I was trying to delete this thread had no clue other individuals would be having the same issue. LOL
