Since people are obviously coming here, brand new, asking about this problem, let's have a vote on who's having issues and who is not.

Larry, if possible to edit the poll it may be valuable for members to break it down even further by 2.0/3.3.

I am one of the seven who has voted thus far. I have a 3.3 with about 2200 trouble free and smile filled miles. No issue yet (and no chip) - Will certainly advise if/when I have any issues

I added a couple of options for you and made the poll multiple choice (two options). Will that work?

I've honestly only read of people having issues with the chip installed or other tunes.

Same here. And in another poll out of 53 people that participated in the poll not a single person reported having any issues with a stock car.

Every single person that reported issues said their car was/is chipped. Every. Single. One.

I haven't seen/read any issues with the 2.0 motor, and I know several forum members are using it. Does anyone know if any issues have been reported for the 4cyl when using it?

Maybe the poll needs another multiple choice? Changed plugs as suggested or not?

Want to move this back to the top for anyone that may have missed it.

I am having trouble with my 2.0 jerking violently when accelerating

No chip, ALL stock
I see in another forum thread you are having it examined...at the dealership, yes? If so, have you informed them of the plug/coil issue being experienced by other members? The issue may not yet be known to those outside of these boards...

No chip, ALL stock
Does the no chip - all stock - mean no cold air intake as well? We saw one other individual with a problem who stated no chip but later he/she stated they were running a cold air intake

Well, he has posted abot an issue with violently jerking, sounds more like a transmission related issue and not ignition.
I personally drive a 3.3 and so far the 3.3 stock have not reported any problems with spark plugs.
