Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

definitely pulling timing?

You should be in high 11s
nothing significant... ive been having some problems with the tune lately i cant run e30 like i was on the jb4, the jb4 could run 93 octane fuel with 5 gallons of e85 no problem and never went below 10 on fuel pressure... the lozic tune i have to run no more than 3 gallons or my pressure drops to 9 or 8 lozic said its not a big deal because it recovers but when im bogging while wide open throttle because of it i beg to differ.. and as soon as i go to map 6 with ewg wires and safety features turned on i dont bog anymore under wot.

i even pulled a 3.87 0-60 on that 1/4 mile run to so im not sure whats going on

Have you tried paddle shifting
i usually dont as it dosent make a big difference, obviously throttle closure would be better shifting earlier but id only gain a couple hundreths of a second i was hoping to hit atleast an 11.8 as there are dudes with jb4s hitting that.. i ran an 11.96 1/4 mile with jb4 map 4 with stock exhaust

What was the temperature of the JB4 run vs the Lozic and also DA? My JB4 1/4 Mile is also faster than my lozic but I have only had the lozic in the summer so not a full comparison yet. Butt dyno says lozic is faster still. But won’t know for sure until it’s fall season and cools down.

But easy way is within the same hour with same tank of gas and road etc..swap from lozic ECU to factory ECU+Jb4 and do one run each and see results and logs. (I recommend to do it from AutoHold and no launch and auto so it’s as close to apples to apples as you can get.)

whats everyones quarter mile times with the lozic tune? i did my first quarter mile today since getting the lozic tune and hit a depressing 12.10 slower than my jb4 quarter mile!
I can't give you an answer why dragy doesn't show the temp and da with this run. It was upper 50's and around 800da if I remember correctly.

After 3.3k posts, we now know for sure the JB4 is faster! Lol! Jk,jk.

He told me that sounds normal for boost ready since it’s trying to hold boost at 0.7 bar after you lift the throttle. It won’t happen in any situation of normal or aggressive driving unless I’m make it happen on purpose by holding the first three gears in manual mode and floor and lift the throttle, so I’m not worried. Also depends on what intake you have, the fluttering definitely sounds louder with injen than bms. Maybe not even noticeable with stock intake and that new afe.
So after the set boost ready rpm is hit then it’s supposed to be “held” at a certain boost? My boost does not hold after it’s hit. Just boost faster than usual if that makes sense. Maybe my version is calmer? Or describe more what you mean?

This is the sound of the boost bouncing.
hitting the intake side.
A lot of pressure is being created by boost ready. This is because it tries to maintain 0.7 bar even when the throttle is closed.
Only above that will the BOV be opened.”

That’s what he said.

This boost ready on my 4th tune does seem calmer. Not as loud in the intakes and not as aggressive- but definitely still there. So I enjoy it. Also I chose a different power by mode this time.. I have heard this can affect it as well.

Hey guys, got my 1.3 bar tune installed today. I ran a log with a BT OBD sensor that I bought. I have never looked at or recorded logs before, so let me know if I need to do something different. But anyways, I have attached the same log but in two different formats that Car Scanner uses. I was idling for a bit at the start, so if you don't see much at first that is why. If you guys could let me know if this looks okay, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!

It seems super clean. But you can turn off most pids then you’ll have a smaller time frame and makes the log easier to read too.

Awesome, I appreciate you taking a look! But yeah I noticed that too, I’m still figuring the app out so if I post any again I will make sure to remove the ones that aren’t needed.

My best is 11.66, with 1.4bar, got a retune that accounted for the secondary cat delete, WMI and went with 1.5bar. Going back this fall to see what it will do

My best is a 12.58, HOWEVER, its the only 1/4 run ive done on draggy, and I let off around the 900ft mark, and coasted lightly on the brakes. draggy says I was doing about 80mph at the 1/4 mile marker, so I imagine that it would probably have been a mid 11's like yours was.

Slightly off topic. How many of you out there have a Lozic ECU, JB4 and either WMI or CPI? I’m doing research and honestly this thread is best.

I have 2 of the 3 boxes checked, and WMI will be the next thing I do.

What makes you chose WMI over CPI?
CPI is realistically only useful if you have e85 available. I don't have a single e85 pump in the state I live in. WMI is my only option.
