For logs you'll need a longer full throttle runs, ideally 40-90mph, on a safe private track.

Are JB4 EWG connectors attached?

I all try and get a better run for the logs. The EWG is not connected. I also disconnected the fuel wires.

Set your JB4 to start logging at 80% throttle. Start n 3rd gear, put your foot to the floor and hold it there until you’re going about 90. Just the CSV is all you need to post.

My ignition timing is at 9 at times. Not too sure if it’s the spark plugs or the Ecu tune

Only need CSV, not photos.

It's generally OK but has a lot of timing corrections. What fuel and can it be improved?

I use shell 93, I believe I have e85 here I just have to find it. Would denso spark plugs be an issue? Or is this because of something simpler

I can't seem to find a dm in this forum, I am receiving the 450 kit for my girlfriend's car this week. I see spool is offering upgraded fuel pumps and I am interested in running full e 85, are you capable of making this happen or shall I look at a motec?

Everything I have read says that even with the spool fuel pump you are still not able to run 100% E85. Could be wrong. Also there are a few ECU tuners that have advertised running full E85 but not sure how true that is

There is a member on here @Avant that is able to run full E85. I don't believe there was much of a performance gain from running full E85 iirc. I would suggest the CPI kit from BMS.

From what I've seen those pumps just don't work. I'm not sure why yet. But BMS will be evlauating high pressure upgrades of our own in the near future. Until then, keep it around E35 on the factory system, or add CPI.

Thanks for the info, we just got your kit installed on her car yesterday and we were playing with it a bit last night. It seems like the ign1 value is way off from the others. Is there a good resource where I can read up on how the logs work? Map 0 and 1 we're showing something like 40 on that channel but it seems to be running fine.

The hks upgrade gapped down to .022, torqued to 19lbs on each cylinder. It shows to his reading even when just reving at a standstill so there would be very little boost. I'm wondering if there is an issue with the unit or if something is messing around with the can readings.

IGN1 reads raw timing, ING2-6 reads in timing corrections. Burger Motorsports has a forum that has a ton of information in the JB4. Here is the logging page: JB4 Logging Parameters - JB4tech.com - International Turbo Tuning Discussion

Hey man thanks for the reply we will look through it tomorrow. I had to delete the links because of some kind of restrictions on my account but I hope you can see this alright!

I am also having a strange ignition timing problem with mine as well, showing up to 50.0degs (raw ignition or correction, still not sure) for ign1, and 7-8ish for ign average at idle. I have been in contact with tech support, and they said the same thing about switching Future use a to 1, but it didn't change anything in mine. I saw the 50.0 after I changed 0-1, but it has always been 35-45 even before the change at idle and very light load.

My other strange problem is that even with the car not running both before I start, in the on position, and after shutoff, my ignition timing is still reading something. The gauges look like they are still active not just a frozen screen or anything. I would post the screen recordings, but I can't post images or videos.

Another thing, what version should I be at for IOS. it's currently 21/22//5?

The timing pull seems way too much for shell 93. You should expect 2-4 or even lower timing pull for a 4th gear pull with shell 93. Swap to hks plugs and see if it goes any lower. Also I’m wondering if shell 93 is the gasoline in the gas when you put the new ecu on? If not try unplug the battery or ecu for 5 minutes to let it reset. And check the timing pull again.
