Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

The spark plugs I’m using right now are the Denso 5346 IKH24 1 steps. They’re gapped to I believe .022
Another step coldest will shave off some timing correction for sure. And may I ask what brand of the fuel are you using now and what other brands of 93/94 is available for you? I personally have the least amount correction with shell 93.

I use almost exclusively Delta, Sunoco, and BP. There are many various types of brands here since I live in a dense part of jersey. I’ll try shell 93 and see if there’s a difference. Only thing I can’t really find my hands on is e85.

Haha, seems like shell is reliable. Would a different brand of gas make that much of a difference?

I got 30 whp gain from swapping chevron ethanol free 94 to shell 93 and the shell 93 dyno day is way hotter and higher DA. Shaved off 3 degree timing pull too. It’s insane how fuel affects performance on boosted cars.

I did some more research and you’re right, i didn’t realize it had that much of an impact. I’ll definitely start using shell from now on. How much psi of boost do you guys get max if you full throttle on the highway btw? I seem to be getting around 21

Peaked at about 21 for me.

does anybody know how much hp the 1.5 bar tune is making approximately? ive seen his youtube video which showed 397ps which is like 390 hp.. thats seems crazy low!

should be closer to 450-470 wheel HP I believe

That 390 must be a mistake.

I fellow Canadian stinger owner makes 491 to the wheel with 1.5bar. Granted with minor bolt ons.

huh i wonder why his dyno tuned stinger videos on youtube only show 397ps

This is a maxed out JB4 map 6 in a Mustang very conservative Dyno. My GTR showed 1125 whp in a Dynojet but 900 in this Mustang (4 wheel).

So my 394 hp in this Mustang, that is with maxed out (fuel/turbos), in that case about 394/0,8 = 492 awhp in Dynojet (the one we have compared with). No more power after 5800 rpm so there is what your TCM should shift up. Backpressure (turbo hotside) is that kills all power over this rpm. If we try to go up in boost there... less power. Boost 1,5 bar (22 psi) tapering of to 1,3 (19 Psi).

I run 11,8@120 with this and no launch (60ft = 1,91). This is with E30, meth and RON 98 comparable to yours MON 93. Full bolt on´s (DP with 200 cells). We had some like ign. missings with pregapped HKS but not after gapping down to 0,5 mm.

Mustang Dyno Stinger Map6.jpg

Conclusion:
You cant compare power between different dynos even with same brand as the shops dont adjust properly and always will make customers happy. Only Dyno that we have seen comparable is newer Mustang calibrated 4 wheels dyno. Every car showes lower figures in Mustang compared tuning in Dynojet before, still all cars considerably faster our tune. So go by times like 60-130 or 100 km/h-200 or similar where start isnt involved to compare your car. Even car by car it can differ more than 25 whp with same things.

So, I'm having almost identical timing issue kylepark1230 is having, and I am running BP 93, which sounds like I should be running Shell 93 instead, which kinda sucks because Shell is $.75 more. But I am also having a pretty bad over boosting issue. I only have the 1.4 bar and it's trying to push almost 27psi. I haven't checked my plugs since I put them in, but I did gap them to .023, and had almost 0 timing correction when running Map2(with stock ecu) with the same gas. I didn't have an over boosting issue with Map2 either. Only made around 19.5psi.
Should I try to get some better logs and send them to Lozic. The logs I have were kind of weird, and I can't get them on this computer to post on here. I will try again later.
Any input would be appreciated.

We would really need to see a log. Try for a 3rd or 4th gear log. Then from the JB4 Mobile app, email the log to yourself so you can move it your computer, or how ever you get to this forum

100% need logs, you can email them to yourself from the JB4 app then download them from any pc and post them here. 27psi is headgasket territory, so be careful. Please post them here and email them to lozic ASAP. Also, if the 603 part of your name is your area code, then I am from the 603 as well and am happy to help you in person if need be.
