so im on my second set of tires , or 3rd counting the stock pilot sports . So my issue is that every time the car sits for a few hours im getting flat spots on the rear tires causing a shake .
i had a set of toyo's first that were really bad , then i swapped to a set of conti's dws 06 and still having the same issues daily . anyone else have this issue ? thanks .

The Nitto Motivo UHP A/S tires flat spot a little bit. Running for a few minutes eliminates the *thuppity* sensation. I've not experienced any flat spotting on the Michelins. Possibly flat spotting is more a cold weather phenomenon.

Are the tires noticeably flat spotted? Maybe defective batch? Maybe lack of psi?

It sounds like something else is wrong other than flat-spotting.

The only time I had this problem was in spring after taking the 911/993 out of winter hibernation when it had Bridgestone's and sat for nearly 6 months. It was the front tires, and it would take about 50 miles for it to go away, and would not return until the following spring.

Sitting for a few hours would not cause flat spotting - it has to be something else.

Have you previously locked the brakes up hard from speed, this can cause a permanent flat spot.

My General tires do, it goes away after about 2 miles. It generally is only on the first drive of the day.

so i kinda figured it out , my garage is ground level or a little lower , its allways about 62 degrees on the floor , i checked with a laser thermometer
my rear tires on a 85 degree day were about 98 degrees when i parked . i put down a couple large pieces of cardboard to park on last night , this am on the drive to work it was at least half the time to round back out . that maybe it .
