Hi everyone,

I picked up a 2019 Stinger GT1 AWD in Ceramic Silver yesterday from Carmax and am extremely stoked. I got back last night late and knew the cat back was aftermarket but didn’t get under the car to verify until just now and it looks like it’s a Borla Type-S so I’m pretty happy I don’t need to shell out any money for that! It also has a rear spoiler I think Maxton and some black side skirts so if anyone recently sold this car in MO to Carmax I’m the owner now but shipped it up to MN.

So far I would say this car is my favorite and a good mix of all my prior vehicles with 300+hp (2021 F-150 3.5 ecoboost, 2014 Charger RT awd, and 2002 Firebird Trans Am).

I’m waiting out the Carmax 90 day warranty to make sure the car is sound and then will be adding a TCU and ECU tune most likely Lozic. I can’t imagine how the car will perform with those. I think my best times for 0-60 and 1/8 mile in any car was with my Charger RT awd running a 4.6 and 8.3 @ 84 mph with a 2800 stall tc, Diablo tune, and shift kit. This Stinger certainly is already faster.

Thanks! I believe so. They have a bit of curb rash but look pretty nice overall.

Congrats and welcome to all things Stinger. Why wait the 90 go JB4 tomorrow. If you have a problem just unplug and Bob’s your uncle.

I might go that route for the logging utility after full tune and just run the jb4 in the meantime. I do have e85 local and 93 or 94 at that station I think since I live right near a race track so might be able to pull off a higher map.

I will say that I almost prefer the sound of this 3.3 v6 with the Borla exhaust over my LS1 Firebird with SLP loud mouth. Never thought I would say that. Call me crazy.

For sure. I took my kid to the track last night for eve of destruction and he got to see the Thunder cars, Late models, monster trucks. I forgot how loud it was.

Thanks! I’ll check out the store. This car has been amazing so far and I’m glad I went with the Ceramic Silver over the Black I was wanting. Not like I had much choice in this market lol.
