How to power front seat inside a house?

I'm not 100% but if I was a betting man it's the GT2. To be honest, I don't have a GT1 so I'm not sure what it doesn't have compared to the GT2
Thanks a lot. Is this the GT2 seat? I didn't see anything that seemed to reference the seat bottom extender, so wasn't sure.

4-way additional adjustments (bottom length, bolsters)
Nappa leather, but I think both have ventilation.

If was to take a guess, the harnesses are exactly the same, just the switches and motors are different, that's done internally.

Finally was able to acquire this seat, ended up trying some ones I could find, nothing ended up being comfortable, but I have this one now but I need to adjust it just to make it sittable in. I'm pretty sure it does use IMS, as I'm thinking all GT2 seats do, at least the driver side. I'm unsure if it's still a simple plug-in. I don't see any obvious place I would plug into. I know it's in previous seats, I would actually crimp into 2 wires and power them just fine using the control buttons. Reading through all the material that I have, I'm unsure still how I can get this thing powered.

I would appreciate any help.

I don't know the pinout but i can tell you one thing of caution. Do NOT touch anyhing in the yellow wiring harness. That is the air bag system.

Shouldn't there just be two of those cables in that main connector that I put one positive and one negative from the battery and then the seat will have power and I can adjust it? Someone has posted here and I found some other wiring diagrams, but I can't make sense of which cables those are.

I have answers possibly. There's a 5 pin connector with 4 wires going to it in the Integrated Memory Seat module. You'll just need to supply 12vdc to Connector B's pins 1 and 3 with 2 and 5 going to ground and that should allow you to move the seat.

Unit is located here you can get at the cables without removing it it seems:

So I'm reading the first post you made recently which I think you edited that talks about which pins to plug into in connector b, but it sounds like I need to use two batteries if I have to plug in four different things, as the battery I've been using has one positive and one ground.

No, you use 1 battery you just wire it to both the positives and both the negatives. What are you using for a battery and have you worked with electronics before?

I'm using a 12 volt battery from a power drill. I wired it to previous seats under the Volkswagen umbrella. I work with electronics quite a bit, just more of with computers than much of anything else.

Am I using a wise splitter cable to do that or just making two cables going to each the positive and ground on the battery?

either or will work, just make sure it's a heavy enough gauge.

Basically they doubled up the pins on that unit to give it more current handling without having to use really thick cable. They are still part of the same circuit though and it would likely just work with only 2 pins but that could cause the wires you're using to get hot if it draws too much current.

Sounds good, thanks. So does the connector that goes into connector b feed back to the main seat connector that would plug into the car? I'm figuring I would just crimp into the cables just outside of where they plug into the IMs unit, I was just wondering if there would be nothing on the other end as obviously the seat is not plugged into a car.
