Genesis beating Stinger with Manual Transmission

Yeah, 4-banger, not the six. Manuals are fun (which is why I kept my GTO instead of my G8) but slushboxes are faster. There isn't a race car on earth now that uses a stick for that reason. They are just fun to drive, and I'll guess that Genesis will not sell many 4-cylinder sticks.

I guess it’s down to personal taste but the genesis is ugly and more expensive.

I think they missed the point with the stick shift Genesis. The Genesis is targeted at comfort combined with style (opinion of course) and a sense of upscale competition. Who is going to buy a pseudo-luxury car with a 4 cylinder and a manual gearbox? Not in the U.S. market.

I agree the G70 is the worst looking genesis, but I don’t believe it’s going to be more expensive. Based on what I’m seeing online, US pricing will be $50k for the top trim, and that will include features missing from the US GT2.

The G80 sport is a larger vehicle with more premium features than the G70, and its 56k. There’s no way the G70 will be much more than 50k, or they’d never sell any.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I'll bet Kia couldnt sell 100 manual GT Stingers in North America .........................

Manual is the cheap version.
