I just put a deposit on a 2023 Stinger that should be landing next week. Anybody know if there are any changes from 22 to 23? Heard screen is different, brakes are upgraded because of current issues. Can't find a single thing online.

Don't recall reading anything definitive. Given it's supposedly the last year, my guess is they change nothing.

You don't have to answer, but why wouldn't you?

Price of admission these days I suppose. I got mine last august. Was really on the fence about it too, but high(er) trade in allowance and ~$3K below msrp made it palatable. If you have the means, just enjoy the car and don't think too much about the price. At least that's what I told myself after buying a $15K motorcycle many years ago.

Normally when they officially post the changes it's on here. No updates just yet though.

But there was some screen shots on the larger Stinger Owners Facebook group that had some of the changes listed on the Kia Dealers News website. Nothing drastic as this isn't a model refresh and 22 was mid cycle refresh (front and rear cosmetic updates) If the stinger lasts the full 8 year model life, hopefully we'll see a full refresh in '26. Or a hybrid or electric version :)

$60k for a Stinger?! I never thought I'd see the day. You're going to be the owner of the most expensive Kia since the K900 was discontinued.

Just curious, what kind of traction issues are you having with your current Stinger? And what's a "state ref"?

And Kia execs, wtf do you completely omit the upcoming 23 Stinger from your website?! The incompetence!

I don't think so. There's a bunch of 23 GT2s on Autotrader for MSRP or less.

Speaking of changes, OP, does your 22 have alcantara? I don't know if this is a new option or something offered in previous model years but here's a 23 with alcantara seats, on the dash, doors, and key fob. I've never seen that on a U.S. Stinger before but I recall it being offered in South Korea in 2019. Also looks like the "GT" emblems are different on the hatch and steering wheel? Plus black wheels. Maybe this is a special edition for 2023?

I think that "upcoming" is for next gen/facelift models... 2022 stinger showed up under that tab last year... 2023 stinger is just a carryover so i'm guess at some point, the stinger page will just flip over to having 2023 listed as the MY .

Yep, you're right. I didn't even notice the changes on the Telluride until I went back and looked at the interior pictures. Looks amazing in there!

I think it's very market dependent. Here, locally in the chicago area everyone was charging over msrp. Drove about 60 miles away a few counties over, was able to get a deal under msrp.

Also, are those numbers on auto trader real..... Or just a way of getting someone in the door. Dealers are slimy and will resort to all sorts of tactics to get someone in the door.

I guess those numbers could all be slimy sale's tactics but I've never met a dealer that wouldn't honor a price listed online.

Dealers have the upper hand now. Yes you can sell your 2nd hand car with profit. Buying a new car with markup? Well it evens out or maybe worse lol.
