I got the rear diffuser on eBay when there was a $15 off coupon. Fits well and easy enough to install but it is really cheap plastic. Super flimsy but I guess it weighs practically next to nothing. It's like the plastic that you can push with a little strength and crease it. Should've paid attention that its made of ABS plastic but I think it should be thicker. Definitely expensive but it does fit spot on. Time will tell in regards to the durability but here's a photo of it for those interested.

That’s disappointing. Hopefully the durability ends up being better than anticipated.

Looks good. Did you have to drill holes on the factory piece?
Great note on the material.

Thanks. Ya I was disappointed and I was about to get the spoiler too since eBay has a 20% off coupon that ends today but if it's the same thickness, I'd be concerned.

It feels like like those thin hard plastic pots for plants that's meant to be temporary for transport and could be brittle after exposure to the elements and crack into pieces.

Double sided tape that comes with it works well but I did use the self tapping screws that came with it also. Screws into the black plastic on the very inside. That does give it more structure and I am confident itll be more than enough.

I was just about to buy one of the spoilers. You sure eBay's discount ended? Care to share the code (if there is one)?

*Edit: Nevermind. I got the email from them yesterday. Guess I should have paid attention to it.

Thanks Beege , looks great and really appreciate the honesty of the product review ! Its in a relatively safe location below the bumper and I'm sure it will be fine !
Cheers

I personally prefer the S type.

Couple questions. Is it the same thickness as the diffuser?

Will it be cheaper than 130?

The last thing that kept me from jumping on it was that it doesn't really go all the way to the edges of the trunk. There's a small space on each side that could have been done much better and still not interfere with the trunk closing.

If they can get the diffuser that spot on then I'm sure they could've had the mold for the spoiler line up with the ends of the trunk much better.

I think it'd bother me whenever I look at it.

Thanks! Should be good as long as the adhesive doesn't separate and keeps it all sealed.

I think it needs to be painted the body color , these are solid ABS spoilers , the side gap is the edge of the trunk , if I was going to keep the spoiler black I would vinyl or paint the edge of the trunk

I'd be interested in a group buy for the S spoiler.

I just ordered the S style. Should be here next week.

I'm really curious to see how low you can get the price with a group buy though.

It was tuscani customs that was going to do the group buy right? I think individually he's charging $210. $160 is going to be hard for him to beat.

I just removed 35% tint from my taillights and put 20% on it. I'm also planning on having the roof wrapped black (but I've given myself a one mod per month restriction).

So my plan is a black and gray motif. The black spoiler should compliment the black badge, bumper, taillights, tint, and eventually roof.

Nice..................!! I'm planning on doing the roof black as well .................had a quote for $650 to wrap in gloss black , going to get a paint quote as well , any quotes on your roof ? It would be a relatively easy DIY because those rails come out

I've actually had all the necessary stuff to do it myself in my Amazon cart but I just don't think I want the frustration.

Yesterday I called my tint shop how much would labor be if I provided the wrap. He wanted me to bring it by so he could look at it. I haven't gotten around to it. But I'm thinking anything over $75 labor is too much. It seems like a pretty easy job (for a pro).

The way it way explained to me was they need to remove the shark fin which requires dropping the headliner , removing and wrapping the fin , replace etc . Might be simpler just to paint the fin and wrap around it ? Vinyl is susceptable to scratching too ..................

Oh hell no. I would never let them do all of that. I wouldn't even want a Kia tech doing that much.

I might have to plasti dip the antenna if they can't wrap it.
