What's needed is for someone to download the new one, extract files, generate and post md5 or sha1 checksums. Then we'll know if they changed something or not, or which archive files they changed.

Have it downloaded....Less than 13 minutes today. I will install tomorrow.
I had the first issue installed and all I found was the fade of the audio after car turned off and door opened.
I did not find Black display , and never looked any further.

Depends how it's downloaded. If just one big file then I'd extract the contents and generate checksums for the individual archive files inside.

I welcome just NAV updates. I had a route going WB on CA-88 towards Clements yesterday, and in the middle of nowhere, on a perfectly straight road where there is nothing but pastures and fields, it showed I needed to do a U-turn. As soon as I pass that point, then it went away.
Weird.

Today I had to drive the same route again. This time I had my wife take a picture of the NAV system telling me to take a U-turn in the middle of nowhere on hwy 88.

For the '22 Stinger, the April 28 S/W version was ....220419.
The version on the notification chart is .....220504
The version on the Update page as of today is still CKPE.CAN.S5W_M.V008.001.220419

No, it is straight for several more miles. As soon as I pass the errant U-turn, then the right turn in 9 miles becomes the next maneuver.

How are they constantly making the audio layout worse with every release. The first original one was the best and the latest one is junk.

Lol. I know this routine. Had I followed NAV's next "turn here" I'd have crashed across a railroad and wound up in a field. But that was an aberration. She hasn't done that since (it was in August 2019).

I like the black maps theme and the audio fade when powering down...

And of course the updated POI's

I miss the nixie tubes, but I never listen to the radio - always spotiy

2022 MY update now available. Some files date 4-9-2022, other dated 5-3 or 5-4. This update is huge, just shy of 38GB. Nov update was about 28GB.

Had to turn off all my security (country blocking and web filtering) on the firewall so the download could progress.

The European version has been going downhill for the past 2 years. Now event the speed limits don't work anymore (not even in the centre cluster display). It's a nightmare.
The Kia support ppl have been saying it's getting fixed for the past 6 months. Nothing out yet.
I would pay to get back the version my car came with and just get updated maps (and POIs). I feel like having an old iphone now. Everything is super slow and unresponsive.
