So just today I started smelling my converters after a long pull and poor acceleration. I figure my cats are getting plugged as the passenger side seemed extremely hot. Just curious as to if anyone has had this happen. Mods are jb4, intakes, and brake snip. I run e30 on occasion also.

Primary or secondary?

Pretty sure cats have a 10yr emissions warranty, should be covered…?

Should be covered under warranty.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
You won't see anything from the outside. Well, if it's glowing red then it's already Real Bad.
Gotta look at the front and back of the element and see if it's getting plugged or, more likely, melting. Sometimes can pull the o2 sensor and snake a borescope in there.
Running real lean or real rich can damage the cat. Probably need to get it back completely to stock and take to the dealer.

I am going to shoot in and out Temps on all the cats, that's should give me some idea. If it doesn't show much I have a backpressure gauge to check the cats. I do this for a living I'm pretty good at diag. But yes may have to do that!! I'm also going to watch the 02 graph on my scanner.
