Hey Ya'll,
I got a set of the JA Air Scoops from kdmwarehouse and installed them few days ago and I made a video of that.
I didn't mount a camera to show me doing it, but did my best to make an instructional video on it.
Check it out, and other videos I have on my youtube and rumble channels. I also have 1/4 mile drag races on my channel and other car reviews.
I appreciate if ya'll could subscribe and support the channel.
Cheers,

Hello, very clear video thank you for that!

I tried to purchase a set of JA Air Scoop on kdmwarehouse but it says out of stock, is there any way to know when it will come back available?

What about the Velossatech snorkels :

Best.

Velossatech took JA guy to court and won, apparently, so I believe the Velossatech may be your only option, unless you find another one out there.

Does anybody know how to get a hold of him?

Who? The guy that made the JA scoops, Jeritt?
Since he stopped making them, he has stopped communication regarding the scoops.

Makes sense then, too bad... But I do understand the legal part of it.

I know this is an old post.. Figured I would throw it out there. Would it be beneficial to just remove the factory designed one without adding an aftermarket? Looks like it would to me but not sure. Since you have done the install I thought I would ask. Or if anyone else has abs it works let me know.

I removed the JA scoops, sold them as defective and installed the "Other Brand"

I guess you could, but why go through all that and not put any snorkels on?

maybe some more air will get in without the stock box there, as it just goes forward and then up under the black panel along the front of the hood. Kinda gets blocked.
But if going thru that, I 100% recommend getting the snorkels to help direct more dense air in .
My 1/4 mile times dropped by. .3 secs. after I installed them !!

Why bother. Air will still be restricted due to location of the opening. Get the scoops.

I just finished printing my "scoops", they came out really nice for a test print. I will be using ABS for the final set stating tonight.

Finished them, they look great. I ended up using PETG filament.

Know how it will hold up to heat and vibration cycles? I know some filament is very weak to UV light.

PETG is impact resistant and flexible and working temp is 220degC. As far as UV, I don't know but since its under the hood and behind the grill I'm not too worried about it.
