Anyone know definitively what the stock boost psi is? I've searched the forum the last two days and I've read different threads from 9-16, with typically a 2psi difference between RWD/AWD.

9 seems way too low, I would think in stock form 12-14 would be normal???

My understanding and what I see on my boost gauge is about 12 peak and tapers down to 10 near redline for stock. Stage 1 chips/tunes add 4-6psi and pushing 18+psi.

Boost is dependent on multiple factors. Our cars do not target a specific psi but target based on load. If you are at sea level with low Temps your boost will be much different from someone at 3000ft and 80 degree Temps. The boost swing can be fairly high

Here is desent article on the differences: Blog : Stratified Automotive Controls

bro your tripping lmao, a normal tune will target 18psi of boost, your gauge might be a little off, i wouldn't trust the stock one.
It might be because I modded mine with a K&N intake, but I’m getting maxed out at 20psi

you are 100% not getting 20psi on a stock tune. not possible, especially with a 2022. to many safety's preventing that.

I tend to agree, I max out at 21, but that's a jb4 running WMI and map 7.

Yup 13psi here with the K&N's and secondary cats removed... I'm hopeful when i take it in for it's 3 month first inspection and they plug the computer in they will free up something somewhere before i need to tune it ?

For the same reason the speedometer goes up to 180mph. If you modify your Stinger, you don't have to replace those gauges.
Problem is that you can run higher boost, but you can't show it to the ECU or it'll flag it as overboost and go into limp mode. So you can run 18psi or whatever, and the gauge has room for it, but it's only going to show the 12-14 that the car is calling for and being told it's getting, at least for a piggyback.

Not sure what happens with a reflash -- anybody have the stock gauges showing true boost of 18-20psi?

Personally i wouldnt run 25psi on the 3.3 engine thats about 60%+ higher then stock. You are bound to have issues sooner rather then later.

Here is a link of someone talking about this very psi and above stretching headstuds. I would also be willing to bet due to size of turbo you are most likely losing efficencly. All in all its not worth running that high of boost because the catastrophic potential is considerably higher.

Good to know. I'll see about dialing it back a little as I don't really feel like replacing a motor anytime soon. Appreciate the info.
