This looks like a really good design funneling in cold air. I've had a Takeda intake on my last car and it was a quality product.

Wish they said how much surface area the filters have.

It does look fancy. But it is the exactly the same design as stock, wich is a good thing. I am sure you can fit round filters inside the stock box for much lower than $600

Nice! I’ve been waiting for AFE to take notice of this platform. I’ve had their intakes also and they’re very good. Their dry flow filters are some of the best. Really like this sealed design.

You can’t. Unless you cut up the box but that defeats the purpose. Here’s the best attempt at reusing the stock boxes but they hack up the lid and use crappy little filters. You can see in those photos how little space there is inside.

Definitely agree on that, chances are this setup will be louder than stock but not nearly as loud as open intake designs.
