I can’t think of a better place to transition this memory but here in the repository. Its something I can’t get out of my head, the adrenaline still hasn’t worn off.

I’m very pleased with my car right now. If it were a dog, I’d be giving it extra beef jerky slices.

On my way home from work, this evening, I was at the light with an orange-looking 2nd Gen Dodge Viper. Light turns green, no unnecessary launches, not trying to race, trying to conserve fuel. Both cars were driving rather harmoniously for a while down the avenue together. No pretentious bs.

Then, I saw an opening after awhile, and since I want to get home, gave it a little gas and hit the opening. Soon I was in the open real estate- passing up the Viper (who was stuck behind slow moving traffic).

I don’t know what it is lately with idiots who take any show of your car’s performance as a threat, but here comes the Viper up behind me. I was going about 65mph. I instinctively switch to Sport Mode/Traction Off, as a precaution. I remained calm and inoffensive as I let the Viper get parallel to me. Sure enough, the cretin peels out. I was ready. As I hit the gas my Stinger GT stayed neck in neck with the stinking Viper.

The bastard never overtook me! I’m completely amazed by this twin turbo beast. Amazed indeed!

Nicely put together fun little memory!
I assume youre stock due aside from intakes? KIA definitely underrates Stingers hp #s. Kept up with 410-450hp 2nd gen viper seems pretty valid. Good stuff!

Now you need a tune haha

A JB4/et al on your side and the memory would have been even that much sweeter. As is well done, nice story.

How long did this go on? How did it end? In friendly fashion, I hope.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
From one red light to just about another. It was quick. No interaction between the driver and I, other than the race, took place.
