JB4, FBO, unleaded race gas dyno

A couple dyno curves from a local Stinger customer who came by today. Mods are full bolt on as I understand it. Was interesting because instead of the usual E85/CPI/WMI setup he's running unleaded race gas instead. Power was solid! Probably another 15whp in it if we could bump timing up another 2 degrees.

Sweet. Do you have the list of mods that he had on it? When I go to the strip, there is a station that sells 100 octane unleaded that I can visit on a nearly empty tank to run for the evening. I wouldn't mind matching the mods you tested with for just such an occasion.

What map is suggested for 96 / 100 octane (just FMIC / intakes / jb4), if available? For lapping at the track, not 1/4s..

You can use any map you want but for road race use I prefer to stay conservative with map2. The brakes leave a lot to be desired to start with and map2 provides more than enough power to get around.

Thanks. I have G-Loc R16 pads up front, R12 on the rears, SS lines, Castrol SRF, and BMS FMIC + BMS trans cooler to keep things from getting too hot in the engine bay..

What was the octane of the race gas? We have up to C23 (120 octane) available at the local track.

Guess C23 is leaded so that wouldn’t work anyway. Best available is 260 Gt plus

Unleaded fuel only. MS109, GT260(+), or even 100 unleaded works.
