So recently as the weather has been warming up in the area that I reside in, my car is starting to act quite strangely. Sometimes when I go to lock/unlock my car (after class, on my way to class, etc...) it wont work. My dash is super dim, and the HUD is quite literally not visible. Ill have to drive around for some time for the whole dash to light back up, or sometimes it just wont even light back up until the next day I get into the car. I'm confused as to why this is happening. I think its a battery issue because when the weather is cold, its fine. As soon as the weather gets hot, it starts acting up. I'm taking it to Kia next week, but does anyone have any experience with this or can maybe tell me something that might be the issue?

Bad electrical connector maybe? Have you tried messing with the hud brightness controls while it is dim?

You wouldn’t be able to start the car if it was a battery issue.

I have.. no good. Theyre all set as the highest brightness and I cant get them back unless something happens where it just kinda kicks back in it.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
But my doors don't lock and open...
There is no way you’d be able to start the car before all your other issues are happening if the. Artery was low/bad.

I know. I’ve dealt with a slowly dying battery. Even after it struggled to start… at no time did any gauges / electronics dim or have door issues.

Even after the battery refused to click over the car in start, all electronics worked normally.

Your issue is not battery related.

Maybe (maaaaybe) alternator. But unlikely that either.
