Hi guys, joined up to learn more about Stingers...

I've been a long standing BMW/Porsche guy but am impressed with what I saw and experienced driving a GT2.

I might sell the BMW X5 and get a Stinger GT2 for a new daily driver. I'm also talking to Stinger Haus to get their full SEMA car package. I think I'd be pretty darn happy with a modified Stinger, vs another BMW.

I also think the bang for the buck and long term TCO will likely be better with a KIA (perhaps). Resale value? Not so sure. WTH, life is short and I like trying new things (and less traveled paths).

Anyhow, looking forward to learning and perhaps being an owner someday.

Ha, thanks...no, no newbie to fast cars or bikes...nor track time. I'm working on a potential GT2 deal right now, with a full Stinger Haus kit on it.

Fastest I've been in the Porsche? Only about 145mph (in Mexico ). Haven't tracked it yet.

Still seemed slow compared to my time racing bikes, where we'd regularly hit 180+mph on certain tracks, depending upon the configuration/straight.



Anyhow, bikes are a thing of the fond (and tragic) past...and I hope to post pics of a new Stinger in the near future.

Welcome...good to see more people trying the road less traveled. You will not be disappointed once you get your GT2 and that Stinger house kit will make it look 10x better. Definitely keep us posted with your choice.
