What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Got the GFB Deceptor BOV installed and the Stillen intake, what a joke that was. I should have just got the K&N but its on and it sounds good.

My rotors from Adams Rotors showed up, only took a couple of weeks. They are high carbon Centric with their drag pattern.

Do tell.

Took out the Recaro carseat. My oldest turns 8 in the morning so he gets nothing and I slid his booster over because my younger son turned 4 last month. So much more room for activities!

Changed the oil/filter, did the usual service inspection, and installed the MBRP exhaust and got to use my new Quickjack setup for the first time, I should have gotten those years ago! Way easier to deal with than jack stands.

Exhaust went on pretty fast except for the last clamp that just wanted to be a huge pain in the ass. Also, Those little Milwaukee impact drivers really punch above their weight. Little thing managed to get all the exhaust bolts loose and didn't even snap the adapter.

Sounds pretty good so far, pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Sounds refined and more aggressive than the stock, not "boy racer" obnoxious.

Chrome delete. Will finish up with some red accents on the hood vents and bumper trim outside vents. Big difference as far as how aggressive it looks now.

I second this!
Fiddly little screws that a person with man hands can not get at, TERRIBLE instructions, self tapping screws that don't actually tap. The drivers side intake tube doesn't really line up without it resting right on the upper rad hose, I turned the hose a bit but it still hits. I put some hard teflon around the hose to feel a little better about it. It just looks like its an over engineered piece that really doesn't need to be. It took me about 4 hours to install and I'm pretty proficient with tools. Not impressed for the price.

I should have just got the K&N..

Sorry to hear all that. At least everything is in and you are happy with the sound. What about the looks? Are you happy with that at least?

Thanks for letting us know. Will help others in the future.

Are you able to pull the covers and leave the filters exposed? Or maybe paint them to jazz up ( thats right! I said jazz up. Hahaha!) your engine bay with whatever accent color you had in your plans? Just throwing ideas to maybe help. Or the CF ones from ADD W1

I put in the Typhoon and it's a real sockdollager.

Im running the same. And put the CF heat shield on more for looks than anything. Really didn't see it doing much. But kinda went with my "build plans"

Ive got a revised tune from Lozic coming, a Full Ground FX kit from Bayson R ready to go, Underglow (it looks good on our cars, dont judge me)
new wheels and tires, and am trying to figure out how I can make a wireless ON/OFF switch for the AWD fuse. Just waiting for the wheels to get here and the warm weather to stay.

Just spent $61 fill up my gas tank at $4.10 per gallon for 93 premium.

Time to start driving my other vehicle that takes regular unleaded more.

91 (best we can get in California) is over $5/gal
Consider yourself lucky

I might look into it when I get the VT intakes but no hurry on that with all the craziness right now.
