Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Boost season is back around the corner. I'm tryna cook somebody lol
how well do you like your burgers done? 400whp or 450whp?

Greater L.A. area is probably the best place in CA, in terms of sales, and being at the center of the tuning community. I used to keep in contact with tuners in the Bay Area (SF area) 10-15 years ago, but have lost touch. I live in the Sacramento area (NorCal) now, and although I’m not sure about tuners, I can tell you there are a TON of modded cars in the area.

The one thing I miss about living in Sacramento was the amazing availability of the junk yard recyclers for all the random breaks I had on the cars I worked on lol.

I'm in Los angeles, USA
here to prepare for Lozic USA.
Can anyone give me some advice on car culture in LA or California?
Is there an area where tuning shops are clustered?
Which area is the best for a tuning shop?
I use Dyno and it will be very noisy.
Korea's Lozic doesn't have a problem driving a race car without a muffler all night long.
Finding a place for a tuning shop was the most difficult.

One customer recommended the Mid-East US as there are many restrictions on my business in California.
texas miami side.

please advise on something.

I would recommend Whittier, La Habra, Buena Park area (east of 605 freeway). I visited Concept III in Santa Fe Springs, CA when I was there last month.

For what it's worth, there is a decent Korean population in Buena Park to Cerritos, if I remember correctly (of course not as much as Koreatown).

I agree! Good points. There are supporters of Lozic here (like myself and others) Plus, Meyer Shank Racing (winner of the last Indy 500 and multiple IMSA champions) and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (Indy 500 winner, Rolex 24 winner and multiple IMSA champions) are here in Columbus. Big auto parts stores like Jegs Automotive (headquarters close to Columbus) with Summit Racing (in Tallmadge Ohio). Plenty of strips and tracks here. This state loves cars and racing!
Correction to Meyer Shank….2 time winner of Rolex 24 (2022). Helio Castroneves big win after getting the Indy 500…

Same thing at my house, I should be pushing 420-440 All wheel burgers as well.

..some more info. All features are available now.

ECU
* Tune enable by mode IE: Sport mode only
* Max RPM can be increased
* Popcorn can be bubble, pop and bangs - sport and other modes
* The tune can be customized for your octane level

TCU
* Shift pressure 0-4
* Shift RPM by gear
* Launch control torque limit setting (IE: Pick your RPM)

AWD
* Torque distribution by difference in speed between front and rear 0-3
Launch control torque limit setting- Pick your rpm? I haven’t seen this before. Please explain. I just thought you could pick off or on.

Been awhile since I posted that but I believe you can ask for the launch RPM to be set (within limits). By default with torque limit on, the car revs to 2300. You could ask for say 2000. I would have to check with Lozic as I don't recall the specifics anymore.

Is this function from ECU or TCU?
Also with torque limit on does it still launch on boost but limited to 2300rpm? If that’s a yes why would you ever want torque limit off?
Thanks for being so willing to answer questions. You are great to everyone!

TCU

With the torque limit on, it will launch on boost @2300 to 7.5psi I believe. With the torque limit off, it will boost to whatever your max boost is... so spin all 4 wheels with an AWD car. If you get good at launching and have sticky tires it will move like a bat out of hell. Best 0-60 of any Stinger ever is 2.8s using torque limit off.

Have you tried both ways, on and off? I just feel maybe I should chose off. I wouldn’t want to launch above 2,300 or 7.5psi- that is plenty and more safe! Unless choosing to have it off changes other things too?

You can have the best of both worlds. If you choose off you can launch in Sport mode with only TCS off and use the 2300 launch @7.5psi. If you then turn off Stability as well, you get the full boost. I'm pretty sure that's how it's working now.

That’s the best thing I have heard, thank you for sharing your knowledge. Will TCU launch on boost with stock ECU. I have heard mixed opinions

When you were getting your best times.. what were your optimal shift points?
I’ve heard that guys engine is toast and hasn’t posted here since august lol

The best shift points for the ecu tunes seems to be at around 5k from 1st to 2nd and around 5500 to 5800 for the following gears.
