Hey guys!

Got my Stinger delivered a couple of weeks ago and it's currently in the shop for some PPF and ceramic coating. Glad to see there's a community of you all. I couldn't be happier with the car: 2022 GT2, Ceramic Silver, Red Interior. Hunted it down all the way to my neighboring state! Maybe I'll do some more mods soon - I'm sure there's lots of information to be had here.

Anyone have steering wheel cover recommendations?

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Stinger! What did the Stinger replace for you? I'm glad you found us. :) Check out the forum store and vendor section for mods.

Welcome to the hive! any reason for a cover on the steering wheel? I've never use on personally

Howdy. The stock car is more than enough for me (well, I did put on Eibach sway bars: but I mean the power and torque).

Thank you! This is my first car. Was driving my sister's car before this.

Thanks! I just thought my hands would damage the leather eventually, but yeah maybe it's not too urgent.

A quick and light clean on a regular basis is all you need... and a little caution, I never eat in my cars, so I don't have dirty / greasy hands. and a light clean often is so much less work than having to do a deep clean. For the inside I would get some micro fiber towels (don't get super expensive ones for the inside... save them for the paint - unless you have gloss black bits) and a good interior quick detailer for the plastics, and leather cleaner / conditioner

That sounds great thank you. Any brands you recommend?

Lots of good ones, but I tend to not do a "one size fits all" or any that are hyper specific... So my interior list is this
Chemical Guys "Inner Clean" for the plastics - a quick detailer, with UV protection (many don't have the UV protection)
Chemical Guys "Sprayable Leather Cleaner / Conditioner" same idea, one step, clean & protect
for glass I use a brand you can't get, in the USA (AutoGylm) but....
Stoner Invisible Glass is great

I use the Rag company's Glass towel, and a couple more for the Leather, and an older set for the plastics (don't mix your towels, get a few in different colours to keep the apart, and learn how to care for them, and demote them as they get old)

Here's a good detailing rabbit hole to go down lol

Congrats on the Stinger! As for a steering wheel cover, I bought one at the Dollar Store and it is probably 5 years old now. Still in great shape. It is a stretchy, cloth one. I bought it to protect the steering wheel and to keep the steering wheel cool when it is hot outside (even though I also use a windshield cover in the summer).
