So i came across a MY18 Sunset yelow GT, asking price is $34,900. Hasn't hit the lot yet either. 47k miles so its kinda tempting just because of the color. Ive got no issue transferring all my CF and so on.

Just interested in what people's thoughts were. At the end of the day i actually love my current ride so its more hypothetical at this moment.

I would never change cars just to get a different color. Now, if my current ride was having issues and I knew they were unresolvable and I could try another Stinger that seemed to have none of my issues (or no issues at all, really), and it was pretty much a straight swap, maybe I'd go for it.

Another thing: going from a Premium, you're only going to gain the 3.3L engine. Everything else is going to be a downgrade.

if the paint/repaint on the yellow is good .. i'd go for it... getting a engine upgrade from the premium and that lovely yellow , I love the yellow on the stinger.... Such a good color. (although Snow white is a gorgeous color as well)

The Lap3 uncle chip adds a decent bump to my 2.slow. But a little more go is never a bad thing

yea.... but like @MerlintheMad said, you will lose out on some of the tech stuff if the yellow gt is a base gt and not a gt2 ... they came in gt and gt2 i don't know if i've seen them in gt1 form.. so if it's a gt2.. then the answer is easy for me .. lol.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I heard a rumor that there were some paint issues from the factory with the yellow cars... true story?

ONLY the 3.3L? Going from a 2L to 3.3L TT is huge. Don
But the Premium 2.0L has all the extras, especially the Harman Kardon surround sound, and the sunroof (if you want one). Granted, if I had a choice between all of those, or the 3.3L, I would take the 3.3L: it was number one on my "must have" short list.

Here's one in the Seattle area for less if you want a road trip.
Or some bargaining power with the pricing.

I agee that the 3.3 would be an ugrade, w/o a doubt. Here is my counter argument that probably only makes sense to me.
When i was car shopping I was able to look at all the colors, by sheer dumb luck. 3.3's and 2.0's as well. Price wasn't a massive concern to a point. The first car i looked at is the one i now own. Hell there was a black gt line with less miles next to it that i never even took a second look at. No matter what ride i looked at i always came back to mine. Even stock, with no CF disease on it, i always was stoked to walk up to my ride.
As for the Yellow, i don't know if that would be there. The Orange is badass too but i can't see myself in that color either. So all in all i guess it really comes down to what "you" want. Hence the hypothetical in my OP. The car is still available and i looked again at it today, and its still a no. I love my ride and at the end of the day have no want to change.
