• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Like most I have been waiting on the due navigation upgrade, yesterday I loaded up the upgrading software and it asked me to install the new version, which I did, once I selected the Stinger 21-22 it downloaded an update image, I though what the heck I have this any way from May 2021, and let it run.

Today I checked the 2021_22_Stinger_AU.ver file, only to find this line +|21Q1|CK_PE.AUS.S5W_L.001.001.210709|KM|2021_22_Stinger_AU|1214|1, interesting! So I went and checked my installed version (pic below)

Has there been a sneaky (unannounced) update (bug fix)

Haven't had time to check the map version, I will soon. the new image contains (AUS.14.41.44.490.001.3_md5.txt) if it is updated I will go ahead an update the whole unit to see what is new.

This is mine that was updated in June & I believe is still the current for AU users as far as I am aware.13598549-1F75-43EC-AE8A-4C46BFF1FD26.jpeg

I suspect there slightly different versions for the Gen5w (widescreen) MY21
Map versions seem the same so I would doubt that would change regardless of screen sizes.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
