• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Pictorial where did you go in your Stinger today

Took the Stinger up to Bear Lake for our annual family get together. It was nice and dry on the way up so I had some fun through the canyon, really wet on the way back but still fun. I had some even prettier pictures of the scenery but my stupid SD card malfunctioned and I lost them.

Nice atmosphere, very calendar worthy: except you ruin the chances with splotches on the plates.

Yesterday, c. 10.4K feet, Uinta mountains, the Whiskey Lake Loop (just shy of 6 miles). It got steep and difficult for older guys on the way down, but that section didn't last too long. I had scoped the area via Google satellite view, for several hours, and was gratified that my sense of location was spot on: we came down off the slope smack onto road 711 as planned. It was a cake walk over the boulders the rest of the way back to the car.

wow that looks like a breath-taking place to visit! :D

We got up Big Cottonwood canyon to see the fall colors. Up as high as the Willow Heights there are few if any rusty red trees: they are all lower down. But the quakies looked stunning. One of my friends took his "rock hopper" on the trail and that was entertaining. He's an ace RC jockey for sure: here's a link showing him showing off a bit: DSCF1033.MOV

What an amazing place to visit! I love seeing landscapes like that. Makes me miss the north east.
