how are you stinger family.

so i want to buy a tcu and ecu for my kia but I'm not fully sure on what to add or what everything means. any help would be very much appreciated please.

mainly having trouble on what DTC OFF means,
also what comport or the sport tab are.
rev limits
and i guess if my sound looks pretty good. I definitely want my car shooting flames. just not sure if i should add fire onto the 5000 rpm and 4500 or if what i have at the moment looks good.

i have a 2018 base GT that is rear wheel drive.

also to shoot flames i would have to change to catless primary's and secondary's correct?

The DTC is if you want to disable any check engine lights. Useful if you are catless and have a constant CEL. To run fire you need to be completely catless. The comport column is supposed to be comfort. The drive mode and the values there are how long the pops and bangs will go

man! i appreciate that thank you. how are you liking the 1.4bar? I'm thinking about getting the 1.5

also for comport. is what i have fine? would it make the car more aggressive if I change the one to off?

also. i see i need to remove my cats for the flame tune. so would i be fine with just cat less secondary's? or if there more work needed to be done?

The pops and bangs is up to you. I have it completely off for comfort and since I still have stock exhaust I don't hear anything in sport. I believe Lozic said you need wide open exhaust for flames, but might want to ask him

Two things you might consider changing:
1 is the power by mode. I had that off as I wanted full boost available in all modes, but that is a personal preference.
2 is the boost ready function. I had that on initially and found it to be very annoying. The car was always building boost (cruising at 45 and it was pushing 3-4psi) and the bov's were always going. Again personal preference but wanted to give my first hand experience.

As for the tune itself, it's awesome. On just the tunes (ECU and TCU) and BMS Intakes I hit 11.9 seconds in the 1/4 mile

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

helpful news! i do want power by mode on for sure but don't fully understand the options.

i think the boost ready function will work with me very nice! im' constantly pressing on my gas to get that boost sound all the time lol.

any chance you know the hp you were pushing after the tune?

would you say ecu or tcu first?

No clue on HP, used one of the drag racing calculators that determine HP based on ET and MPH and it put me between 440 and 460 (don't know if that is wheel or crank hp). If you have to chose between ECU and TCU, I would go TCU everytime, especially since you have a JB4. The TCU will drop you 0-60 by atleast half a second by itself
