Best (Cost Efficient) Chip/Tuner for 2021 GT1??

What do you guys think? I'm in the market and don't know too much about them. Any help would be awesome!
 
Best bang for buck with the ability to take it off if probably the JB4/lap3 pro tuner. I think standard Jb4 is $550 and lap 3 is about $1000ish. JB4 has a a few different add ons that bump the price up as well, but are worth while. If you wanted a dedicated ECU tune with a spare ECU you have Tork, Lozic, and Lap3. They are a bit more expensive depending on add ons, roughtly $1300-$2000. Those companies also offer TCU tunes and only Lozic provides AWD tunes. The 3 companies all only tune on space ECUs or TCUs.

@trooperducky Could you elaborate a little? For instance, the JB4, when you say add ons are you referring to (for example) the 'REV3 bluetooth' or 'BMS data cable' "for diagnostics and upgrades" that they offer when you purchase?... are there other add-ons that i should know of?? If i added this tuner to my car is there anything that i will need to do to the motor afterwards to make the vehicle perform as it should or do you just toss this on and im good to go?

Also, is it okay if i get the JB4 rather than the tuners with the dedicated ECU tune with spare ECU? Will i regret not getting the ECU tune/spare ECU?

JB4 add ons consist of the Bluetooth cable, EWG *(electronic waste gate) wires to better monitor boost/over boost , and as an option additional fuel wires to tap into so you dont have to tap into your factory O2 ones. If you get any sort of tune or piggyback at all new spark plugs are required.

Also that really depends on budget more than anything, plenty of people just have a jb4 and love it. The jb4 is great because its not detectable by your dealership if you take it off before getting serviced so it doesn't void the warranty. Technically the same can be said for your spare ECU/TCU tunes before you could hook the factory one back up for service. Technically if they went in and read the ecu/tcu they would know it was swapped but odds of that are probably low IMO.
