ORdered LAP3 TCU tune.
talk to me about the issues you felt you had with the Lozic TCU if you would. What do you expect will be better about the Lap 3?

Zero issues whatsoever with LOZIC TCU tune. It is amazing. Only reason I am going with Lap3 TCU is because i ordered a LAP3 ECU to match with the TCU.

I have tcu -8% / 3..I love it. I dont feel the kick aside from deceleration (stopped by being in manual shift mode)

...or when I'm cruising and drop it down and fly lol.

When I drive like a sane person...10 to 20% throttle for acceleration, shifting early ... feels 99% stock.

I'm also interested why LAP3 vs Lozic, I love my lozic ecu and tcu, I dont anticipate changing unless we get a programmable ECU ...and even not then probably, I like the plug and play.

I'm torn. The JB4 has been great and it's cool to see logs and such. With Lozic's ECU tune at 1.5 bar, it's kicking out the same max boost as JB4 Map 7 with Meth, so I just can't see switching to Lozic ECU. If I wasn't already built out with Meth and all, then maybe. I am curious how the TCU would do on my RWD though. I also don't get how people can be running around at 21 psi on 91 or 93 octane and not be pulling timing. we've seen the logs with the JB4 users and some can't even run clean on map 2 with 17-18 psi on 93 octane. I feel like CPI or WMI is necessary to run 1.4 or 1.5 bar safely and effectively.

Just me thinking out loud I'm not an expert by any means.

Some tuning today... and also a 60-130 run

No idea what a good 60-130 time is. How does yours compare to a stock Stinger? And vs other cars normally compared with Stingers?

Hopefully someone in here with Lozic or JB4 have done some runs. Would be nice to compare.

I got up to 130 the other day but it was a spur of the moment thing lol. Only done that a handful of times in 2+ years.

I was thinking the same thing, what is a good 60-130 time?

ha, just looked on my dragy and I had one saved. This is with mods in my signature, except before I added the intercooler. DA was a bit high as it was warm and a bit humid. I'll try to get another one. Running map 7 with Meth, etc. full interior, but minus the spare tire. Intake air temps on this run were mid 90 degree range.

Good to see! In a long run like this both a good IC and some Meth can help.

Ahhh, but layer a JB4 map 6 on top of the Lozic 1.5 ECU, that’s something special. I do agree with you that higher octane is needed to run 1.4/1.5 bar
Ordered for -8/3 tcu tune

excited
That’s what I have. I like it!

I did Map 3 in Mustang Dyno and it works very good so if you stay at like 18-19 Psi it should work with 93, not so much difference compare to Map 5 and performance or to 1,5 bar (22 Psi)
