Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

I got the lozic ecu and tcu myself. 1.5 bar readyboost on, no popcorn, boost by mode pattern B.

Tcu pressure 3 -8%

I haven't launched it yet but just flying around the roads it is glorious.

I don't get the oscillation others mentioned earlier in the thread and more mods are pending for the car, it'll be a beast.

Sounds awesome. What mods you got right now?

Sounds like my setup

Ngt downpipes with hfc, ark mid, bms intake, denso step 1 plugs.

I have other mods planned but not in hand yet:
Wmi
Atq subframe bolts
Ark sways
Ark gt-f springs
Whiteline endlinks
Bms diff brace
Mishimoto intercooler
Mando ecs

Eventually jb4 for fine tuning and logs, wmi is getting a stand alone snow stage 2.5. E85 is 40 miles from the house so I don't plan on running blends regularly at all. Car is my daily driver still.

And there is a never ending quest to find an exhaust I'll like for it.

I removed my Lozic ECU & TCU today. WOW I was just amazed after removal as I was with install. Felt like a 300hp camry. I have always liked my LOZIC set up but appreciate it even more now. In stock form I thought it was pretty fast but now feels slow but it is refined and relaxed for road trip.

What does everyone feel are the best TCU options for the AWD? Also, did anyone order the AWD tune, does it change much?

Why did you remove it? I just heard about this today, and I'm fascinated by the results.

Are the claims true? ECU+TCU 0-60 is now like 3.6 or there abouts?
Any short/medium/long term impacts to engine or transmission that we should be aware of? I just think of me buying this, 2 months later my car explodes

You can select no bubble/popcorn on the order sheet.
nice.

I hate to be that guy, but how can I get a recap of the past 100 pages? Are engines/trannies blowing up or not? On the surface, spending $1-2000 for ~40% yields sounds too good to be true

I dont think anyones stuff has blown up but keep in mind this is a new product with not that many people using it or putting tons of miles on it yet. It will for a fact lower the reliability of your car no matter what but lozic is a reputable tuner so he knows what hes doing.

I remember when I had a supercharger put on my Z, I purposely put in an auto-damper for the belts or something similiar. This was to increase reliability, it did nothing for performance.

Is there anything like this for this mod? With such a powerful ecu/tcu/awd tune, what mods can I add to increase reliability?

To add to this, I’ve been lurking here in this thread since the beginning, and I haven’t seen anyone post about their engine or tranny blowing yet. I don’t think anyone wants to be that guy/gal that tells you it’s perfectly okay, not know what else you have going on, and assume liability either. I can personally vouch for it, as the tune has been safe for my set up, but it’s not a one size fits all approach. If you’re thinking about pulling the trigger, email/dm Lozic and inquire into what to go with for your particular setup. Please be patient/kind, as you’ll need to account for time and language difference.

I dont have time right now for a recap, but the reason I wanted to remove was road trip. I took 10 min to swap out ECU & TCU. I have no problems with my lozic setup. I just felt like going back to OE for almost 2000k road trip (I mean you never know what if I broke down and ended up @ dealer with LOZIC ECU AND TCU. . I commented how different the feel was after having LOZIC setup car feels slow like 300hp camry ITS JUST A COMPARISON . I do not see how anyone would be disappointed with the Lozic setup when searching for more performance.

I think the quickest times can be had by the -8% option. The pressure is just how hard the kick in shifting is. Some people like 2, others like 3-4. I have -5%/2 option, but would probably go -8%/1 if I were to do it over. The #2 kick isn’t too bad, but unnecessary imo.
I think Williamsj41 has/had the AWD tune, but I don’t believe I’ve seen any recent posts from them.

Anyone else? I was thinking of the -8%/2. I am new to the TCU tune so wanted some opinions on the differences. I would like to hear from Williamsj41 since they are the current record holder and it seems like they have changed a few tunes.... :)
